How long will you hope that your wallet shows up before you replace it?
Just curious - I lost mine on Dec 24th, I gave it a week, and started to replace everything on Dec. 30th. Of course, I was monitering stuff online and knew that nothing was being used. I found it on January 7th - right after my new driver's license showed up, but before anything useful (like replacement credit cards, or the PIN numbers for my new debit cards) came.
And in case anyone is curious, the order in which I received replacement items:
Debit Cards (4 business days) Driver's License (5 days) Starbucks card (5 days) Credit Card #1 (7 days) Credit Card #2 (9 days) (these were both from the same card issuered, and reported at the same time - go figure??) Debit Card PINs (12 days)

I lost mine a few years ago, assumed that it was gone. About three weeks later I received a call from my credit card company that someone had found it, contacted them using the number on the back of my credit card and wanted to return it. The credit card company asked if they could release my phone number, I told them yes.
I picked up my wallet that weekend, everything was still in it including some cash, the person that found it would not take a reward he said he just wanted to make sure that I got it back.
FYI, I had replaced all the credit cards and drivers license by the time I got it back.
