The wording on the Bounty Q has always been that way. Not always. I have gotten the $1/1 any size, but, it's been awhile.

We also get the $1/1 bounty P/T. Misspt - That's a great price for p/t. I'm also doing the P/T deal, but I'm getting 3 packs instead. We only use Bounty p/t & I figure getting 36 rolls for $17 OOP is a great deal. The single roll Bounty Basic is 49/50c after Q at Target. But with this deal, I'm getting the regular rolls (which is stronger) for 47c/roll. I used to get free Bounty Basic at my one GS, but they've changed their Q policy to "NO free items with Qs" (thanks EC ) Happy New Year everyone! That sux about the grocery store, and I have bought some $1/1 any size coupons back in the day when I got monthly orders from madcoupons.

Leanna thanks so much for sharing the info on Staples rewards! Ssorry you learned the hard way but that was exactly what I was going to do. I have used Staples easy rebates before but this will be the first time for the Rewards. I think I have gone over to the dark side. Ehhh..that's what it's all about - it's a learning process. At least I can save you from doing the same thing! Me too - have only done rebates before. But this makes perfect sense to me. Basically shell out the money I would spend for ink anyway, get other things. Then the rewards will come in, and I'll get ink.

There still is occasionally the $1/1 Bounty paper towel coupon. I actually had one that expired 12/31. But I couldn't find a deal to go with it so it went in the recycling bin.
I've got another $1/1 that doesn't expire until the end of February. It came in the P&G brand sampler from last quarter. I also have a $1/2 that came inside the Mr. Clean magic erasers awhile back.
The one in my P&G insert is .25/1. Booooo!!!! LOL

The regional differences in Qs is amazing. $1 vs $.25 on paper towels is a huge difference. I don't think we've EVER gotten a $1/1 Bounty out here in our CA inserts.
There were sooo many times in 2009 and 2010 when I found myself holding WAGs RRs with nothing to roll them into and/or a rebate item that could be purchased. I started to think of items that I rarely could get for free that I would like to stockpile. It was during the time when I could not get the freebie Angel Soft (with doubles) that a lot of the GC gals could get. I decided that any time I had RRs "to burn", which was often, I would use them to stockpile paper towels or toilet paper. I still have (16) 8-packs of Bounty left in my stockpile as well as several 9-pks of Angel Soft and Northern TP - all from WAGs, mostly for sales tax only in OOP.
I am so thankful that I decided to do that. Other than a rare deal on Cottenelle at CVS (thanks again to maw maw) and the Rite Aid deal about a year ago, I still have never gotten free TP or paper towels; and it seems as thought the prices are just going up and up.

Of course, there is always the possibility of selling your stockpile before you move on to your next post.

So with a $2.15 coupon, it's still worth $1.95. Sounds good to me - particular if you go through a lot of dishwasher detergent. I have (3) of the Flinstones $2/1 vitamin q's you can have. Just PM me your address.

When we bought our house recently, we only moved from 1 town to the next. And I don't have nearly the stockpile as some do. But sheesh so many boxes to contend with! Not just the stockpile of course. My whole household of stuff. I do NOT want to move again anytime soon.

DM, I can't believe you were getting Northern TP for free. I never see coupons for it Lena We used to get $1/1 insert coupons on the Northern multi-packs quite often, but I haven't seen any in quite a while. I used those, combined with the for-profit RRs, and purchased using a rain check most of the time.

Well ladies, I'm heading to bed. Been a rough day here. I had to have my 16 yr old kitty put down . Talk with y'all tomorrow. Anyone been to Walmart? Wondering if Christmas is 75% off yet...not that I need anything. I'm working on getting rid of crap and being way more choosy about the deals I do and stuff I add to the stockpile.

Happy New Year to everyone! And thank you for posting all your great deals! I have been an avid couponer for over 25 years, but still learn more on this site and your blogs than I ever thought possible. I have a few question that I am hoping someone can answer: Will CVS accept expired ExtraBucks? Can you use ExtraBucks or UP rewards to buy giftcards? Has anyone found the Keri lotion at RiteAid that was on sale in early November with a $6 UP reward? Did anyone do the Brita Rebate and actually get it? Thanks again for all your help.

I can only answer the RA questions. No, UP rewards cannot be used to buy giftcards. The Keri lotion was in stock at my RA when it was on sale. I've submitted the Brita Rebate just about a week or so ago, so too soon to know. I haven't heard of any problems with Brita.

CVS is YMMV regarding EBs, they know me, so if I find the right cashier, yes they will take expired EBs. I'm not sure about the GC question, though.

As a general rule, expired Extra Bucks are expired; but some CVSes will accept them. Call your local store an ask. The only time you can use Extra Bucks to buy GCs are the recent ones that are specifically designated to be used for GCs (as far as I know anyway). We'd love to have you join us on a regular basis!! ;D
