spectator.org/archives/2011/01/17/jared-loughners-zeitgeist-obseOK, this just about explains EVERYTHING to me. I got invited to an "international investing" seminar a few years ago that was run by a group of whack job new age tax protesting 9/11 truther types whose entire "investing strategy" if you care to call it that hinged on everything in this two hour peice of crap being true, and they were actually telling people that their birth certificate (US) was a blank check-- and that their ssn was a kind of endless ATM machine. It was weird. They were weird. I walked out. But even though I left, I was really concerned about the guy who invited me, so we had a little heart to heart discussion where I literally encouraged him to "come to Jesus" because he was clear to me he was in danger of really going off the rails and losing his mind, if not breaking the law which is bad enough. These people are nuts- and the sad fact is that they are on the left, they are on the right, and many of them seem rather normal and otherwise reasonable. They are not.

I know each person is different and has a different button to push. But you wonder what or how do they fall for all that non-sense. What were they looking for when they fall into these groups. Amazing what some will believe.

Just another weird thing about this young psychopath. He is also a 9-11 truther.. he really just does not fit any catergory except crazy, from what I have read. He picks pieces of everything, and has no firm grasp on anything, it seems to me.

"or that Bush was part of the conspiracy" and/or 9/11 was a "false flag" operation (think Reichstag fire).
I'd recommend watching it if you haven't already-- you'll see what kind of bat sh** crazy the (mostly) Bush derrangement syndrome people are. They aren't left or right. These are one-world-government conspiracy types. They're all nuts.

What about the majority of us who keep voting the same old corrupt people back into elected office and let them give away our technology, take bribe money from special interest groups and bankrupt our country? Are we any smarter then these people or do we just keep drinking the JUICE and believe their every word? Seems like history might show we weren't a lot smarter then these people we consider nuts. Maybe we are just normal nuts!

Back on the old MSN money forums, use of the word "Kool-Aid" was cause for deletion of one's post and possible banning. I love it here. Mods are doing a great job.

We are being dumbed down generation by generation by gov't schools in what they decide is appropriate to add in and what they choose to remove. I never knew how dumbed down I was until I started listening to talk radio, reading really smart people on message boards, and using the internet to see if the things I was hearing were true. NOW-- if I had a normal life with friends and activities I would not have had the time for any of that. Therefore I am thinking it could be that most normal people have no idea that something is really, REALLY wrong in this country, and has been for a long time now.

Actually, I remember I took that to Kymber and "drink the kool-aid" was one of the things that she would allow It was neither left or right and had a real historical reference. But....as far as MSN goes, it's all over but the crying.

BS. Not long ago I sat and listened to a group of public school boys translating phrases from English to Spanish to Chinese to Latin. In the same time frame, I was working with public school boys, when they bothered to show up, who were discussing how to rip off stores. The opportunity is there if you want it.

We do have great disparity in education. Public schools do not provide a level playing field, however, for those who w ant it, and are willing to work for it, a quality education is available.
