Love it. We don't have cable so for $9 a month we can watch a ton of movies online and (depending on what DVDs we order and when we get to watching it) we can get at least one regular DVD a week. We also have it set up so we can do streaming through the xbox so DS can watch on the tv or on our projector.

i've been a netflix customer for some time. Redbox is cheaper for dvd rental, but netflix has been beefing up their streaming content and I see that as their advantage going forward. You do need some type of adapter for streaming to your tv such as tivo, xbox, PS, wii etc. Or, just watch on your laptop like I do

Unless they have complied with recent law, Netflix captions little to no content, so I have definitely ruled out getting it.

We've been with Netflix for a few years now. For $15/month, you get to watch a lot of movies. The turnover is very, very fast. You can mail a movie on Monday and get a new one on Wednesday or Thursday (I don't know how that happens--maybe because we're very close to a distribution center--but it happens). Also, there's streaming through our TiVo, which is nice. I don't watch much TV or many movies--Hubby's the one glued to the tube--but I do have some movies and documentaries saved to my Netflix Instant Queue. Every once in a while, I'll get into the mood to watch something (e.g. Precious, Food Inc., Helvetica) and will stream. For those few occasions when I feel like watching TV, it's nice to have instant access to something I would enjoy watching, instead of having to make do with whatever's broadcasting at the moment in time.

We just went down to 1 dvd at a time for $10.. with the unlimited instant streaming.. I'm pretty sure I will never run out of stuff to watch. Yah, the streaming stuff is limited, but seriously... it's not THAT limited. We only do the 1 dvd a time 'cause we suck at returning even mailed movies

I have used netflix several years and have the ROKU streaming. nine dollars month. at least one DVD a week. It has been really dependable and they add new streaming all the time. just cancelled Direct TV because I can get alot of local just by putting the TV reception to antennae since the signal went digital. I dont get CBS but all the others are crystal clear and free. save 45.00 a month.

I have cable already and use Redbox when I want the newer releases. I had Netflix but found I just didn't have enough time to watch enough movies to make it worth the price. It is reasonable for those that watch a lot of dvds though.

I don't really watch movies so....no, I do not use netflix. My TV time consists of Top Gear, F1 racing, MX and SX racing. Sometimes I watch PBS.

I had it but cancelled it after I got two broken or otherwise damaged dvd's in a row...when I reported it, Netflix said after so many reports of damaged dvd's from me, they would cancel MY subscription! As for streaming, I think a fast (broadband) internet service is required and I don't have that out here.

I like it. As said, the turnaround is very fast. I have had a couple of DVDs which froze up while playing back. I'm looking at setting up the streaming option.

Friends of our have the one DVD at a time/unlimited streaming package. They gave us their log in and password, so we watch a lot of content online for free. We hook my laptop to our TV and watch everything on there. Yay!

I have the one DVD at a time plan. I'm near a distribution center, so I can actually get up to 2 DVDs/week if I watch them the night I get them (that doesn't happen too often, but sometimes).
The streaming is awesome too -- my bluray player streams, and I always have it available on my laptop as long as I'm online. For the price, it's completely worth it to me.

DH watches netflix ALL THE TIME, and we watch the movies in bed on the blue ray. We are watching Blue Mountain State at the moment though.

We use netflix all the time. We really should downgrade, right now we get three movies at a time. We ordered a HTMI (?) cable to hook a laptop to the HD big screen. It cost $40 at Best Buy and $2.50 or so from Amazon, plus $12 shipping. We also appear to live near a hub, if I return movies on Monday morning, my new ones arrive on Tuesday.

I have Netflix and also love it. I get 3 DVDs at a time, it entertains the kids and me for under $20 a month. Middle child watches all the stuff she doesn't get since we cut off the cable on there, lots of episodes of kids shows available to stream. I also am near a distribution hub so turn around is very quick.
