Wut wo...I'm hearing--sometimes--a faint, low "roar" from the rear passenger side. Bearings? Ru is just about to turn to 100K miles.

Sorry, Rick. I guess I figure that just because I understand me that everybody else does, too The noise I'm hearing is new to me on this car. It doesn't screech or whine or grind, just this sort of low intermittent roar. Car doesn't vibrate or feel any different than it ever has. Any ideas what might cause it? The first thing I thought of is bad wheel bearings. <Rich rolls his eyes and says "yeah, lots of things might cause it"> Am I just being paranoid because it's going to roll over to 100K in another 60 miles.

Definitely in back. Guess I'll just have to have it looked at because there ain't no way I'm gonna start fooling with it myself. The most important thing I learned in school was "when you don't know what you're doing, don't screw around with it."

Rick! We're talking about the only car I own. Besides I gave all my tools to my sons about 20 years ago. When I was in school, it was rare to find a car that had fuel injection or front wheel drive...that's how far behind I am! Heck, people were still using the horse and buggy back then...
