Leanna: Aleve was $7.29, the emory boards were $1.69 and the Sucrets were $2.99 with a $2.00 UPs. I had a $1.00 Sucrets MQ but used the one in the flu book. Ok, so about 4% higher. Not too bad, but it does make a difference in scenario's like the Aleve, where it's almost free where I live but costs some change where you live. I was just curious, because prices here are higher than other places, so I actually wasn't aware that we weren't the highest.

Iggy, there are a few IP sites that may help you out. Coupons.com was one. Another is printablecouponsanddeals.com and freecouponalerts.com. They may help you out somewhat since time may be an issue getting what you need. I thought when I looked yesterday on coupons.com there was a Bisquick .50/1 coupon. The Printable coupons site has categories that are helpful for pinning down what you may be looking for. Like they have a coupon for $1.00 off two ChiChi's products. I think you mentioned something about tortillas. Coupon expires 1-8-12. Edit to add: Sometimes Walgreens or CVS or Rite Aid have some pantry items with store coupon that can be gotten very reasonably. (use a manufacturers coupon with store coupon) Buying store brand versus national brands keeps your pricing down also. (but, you knew that already) For instance, the Rotary Club or the Township office where we live does holiday food baskets. They make it a food drive, however they provide a list where everyone can be involved. Some of the items they list are Jello, Jiffy corn bread, cake and frosting. If your area carries these, the additional ingredients that are added are very minimal. Good luck!

leanna~ thanks for the Aleve deal at RA. I noticed I had $11 toward this weeks SOS and I got the Aleve Q's this week (cuz I was in florida and got GOOD inserts) so, I am going to head back today and hopefully find enough Aleve to finish the SOS. Did anyone find any of the Beyonce perfume sets for 15.99? I have the $5 q from All You, but I only saw 21.99 and up sets. They did have the Heidi Klum sets for 15.99, only 12.79 with gold discount, minus $5 MC from Nov All You and gives a $5 Up this week. Only 2.79! I got one yesterday and will probably get another today. Heading to target to use the $10 gift card wyb $50 Q. Hoping to stock up on Starbucks coffee and the curel deal. Should be some awesome deals if they are in stock. Also, those cute little cupcake/treat makers are on sale 16.99 thru tomorrow and there is a $5/1 target q on their website. Should be cheap dog treats too. Beggin' Strips are 2/5 and there is $1/2 MC and $1/1 target q.

Ruby - quote] Misspt: That's crazy about Walmart. I got 11 packs the other night and the cashier kept reading and reading the coupon and checking the razors. I told her to get the manager over ASAP. The manager ok'd it and told her how to do it on her cash register. Many workers there are still clueless about their own policy. I was thrilled they had them in stock because they've been out the last several weeks and I was able to get some items that I don't normally buy. I hope you have better luck the next time. The problem is that this is the only store that has these in stock, guess I know why now....Corporate has been complained to....

Money Maker Alert
Target has the Ice Mountain Sparkling Water Liters on sale for $0.69 this week and there is a $1.00 off coupon on the liters. I did it last night and they took the $1.00 off no questions. And since I work there I also got my discount on the price before coupons. Love it!
Oh and whoever posted about the Coke deal, thank you thank you thank you! I promptly went on that day and got my two coupons. Diet Coke is my addiction, and it goes oh so well with the Captain.

Is the HCW database defunct?

I found the Target Q for Beggin' Strips on their site. I was going to ask where the $10/$50 is (or is that a GC after you buy $50 worth). If there's no beggin strips deal, it won't matter even if I got the PJs.

HOUND ALERT - TARGET
If anyone is doing a GC deal at Target before Saturday afternoon, please post scenario details here. I have seen drips and drabs about deals (curel, dog treats) but hadn't been able to write anything down and won't have the chance to search everywhere. I would love you bunches! #heart#

Dancin: You have to spend $50 at Target. Give the cashier the $10/$50 q first and the computer will tell him/her to give you the gift card. As always, you can't use it for that transaction--just a future one.
bluecluessubtlety:
Okay, you asked so I'll post my Target scenario. Be aware that I started out with $20 in gift cards: $10 from the Curel deal I did last week and $10 from the first $10/$50 gift card q they had (DS wanted a smart phone for Christmas and they were on sale for $50).
Raid $3.59 Merona Sweater $8.99 Popchips $2.69 A.Farm Trail Mix (2) $5.00 Apples $3.69 Bananas $1.20 4/12 pk Pepsi $10.00 (this was a price match from the Safeway ad) 2.40 CRV 2 Triaminic $10.08 (will give to my two nieces who have little ones) Foot corn pads .99 (for in between DH's little toes) 4 Purina Cat treats 5.68
Total with tax was $57 something...
Minus: $10/$50 purchase Target q generated $10 gift card for future
$1.00 Raid IP q $4.00 Merona sweater Target q $2.69 PopChips q $1.50 off 2 Archer Farms trail mix Target q 2/$3 Triaminic q (12/4 insert) -$6.00 2/$1 Triaminic Target q's -$2.00 2/BOGOF Purina cat treats Target q's -$2.84 1/$1.50 off 2 Purina cat treats q -$1.50 -.15 for using my canvas bags -.67 for using Target red debit card -$10 GC (from Curel deal) -$10 GC (from using $10/$50 purchase
My OOP was $14.33; and received the $10 gc back. The sweater is a no go, however, as I did not like the way it fit so I'll be bringing it back. If you take the $4.99 + tax off the $14.33, my oop will be @ $9.00. Almost forgot: I'll get the $2.40 CRV back as well when we take the cans to Recycling. So @ $6.60 oop.

Dancin: Go to the MFA site and click on the stores tab. Select Target and scroll down on the deals she lists. I think she had that q link on Wednesday. Hopefully it's still there for you.

There is a regional deal on American Greetings cards this week at CVS, buy 3 get $3 ECB. There's also a printable coupon for $2/3, I think. This is the third time I've seen this deal in a few weeks. Is it the same one or has it reset? If I bought some a few weeks ago can I get more now? I remember that they used to have monthly deals and advertise it once and then again a few weeks later and you thought it was a separate deal. TIA. This is a separate deal. I tried it yesterday and it worked. I also bought more wine. ;D

Target deal: (just to clarify, it's not $10/$50 as in $10 off when you spend $50 so you only pay $40. You spend $50 (no discount) and then you get a $10 GC after.
I checked the Target list on coupon mom and just bought a bunch of groceries and stuff I needed anyway, on top of the Starbucks deal, which is what I was really after. There were only 1-2 different bottles of Curel in different sizes and at different prices that were on my list and I couldn't figure it out so I bailed on that one. I'm going by memory so this is a general scenario.
Transaction #1: 3 Starbucks coffee 10-12 oz. ($7.99 each) 1 generic Allegra ($15.00) 1 pack undies ($5.99) 2 Nestle chocolate chips ($2.35? each) 2 Spaghettios w/meatballs ($1.09 each) 1 MP tuna ($0.79) we are OUT Can't remember what else but it was mostly groceries.
-First give coupon: spend $50 get $10 GC -$3/2 Starbucks (12/4 SS) -$1/1 Starbucks (12/4 SS) = $1.66 ea. (after $10 and $5 GC) -$1/2 Nestle chips (printable) = $1.85 ea. -$0.50/2 Spaghettios (printable) = $0.84 ea
Got back $10 GC and $5 GC (Starbucks deal.) Then I'll send in for the $5 Starbucks GC rebate. Then we'll take the empty coffee bags back to the Starbucks store for free coffees.
Transaction #2 -PJ set $10 -Christmas gifts
Used $10 and $5 GCs as cash for gifts I was going to buy anyway. Now I don't have to carry them around or remember to use them next time.
HTH

They technically should count, but I didn't feel like having to straighten it out w/CS - I'd rather get my UP asap.

Will Target allow you to use a BOGO on a BOGO?
There are BOGO Purina Target Qs and BOGO insert Qs AND $1.50/2 insert Qs.
The $1.50/2 Beggin Strips is ACTUALLY a $1.50/2 ANY Purina Dog Snacks from the 12/4 SS. There is also a $4/4 which is better.
Can I use more that one of the same Target Q in a transaction (i.e. (4) $1/1 Target Beggin Strips Qs with (1) $4/1 MC)?

Murpath, thank you very much. Unfortunately I probably wouldn't buy any of those things. :-( But nice to see it laid out. Makes my mind work a little easier.
Freesalsa, I might be more inclined to do the Starbucks. Do you have to buy 3 to get a $5 GC? Seems a little high to me but will look into it more. Is Curel deal (whatever that was - MM wasn't it?) over? I think I also saw a coupon for cheap pajamas. I can buy pajamas all day long. I love me some pajamas. I can't see target Qs on work computer so have to wait until I'm home to see if anything meshes.

I hope the $10/50 Q is still available when I get home. I have to buy the boy some stuff this weekend and it should be easy to get to $50 unfortunately.

I work at Target sometimes as a front end supervisor, and I would allow you to do the deal. The cashiers are supposed to scan all coupons no matter what and if the register flags it then look to make sure that you got the right items. Very rarely do I question people unless I know they are known for misusing coupons.

Toughgirl - what state are you in? if you are remotely near me i may make special visits to your store! at my targets, it's a hit or miss. some cashiers don't care & will scan & manually enter everything. but some will read every coupon & search every bag to make sure you bought exactly what the q is for before even trying to scan. if you have a lot of q's & a lot of stuff it can be very daunting.
