Virgil is trying to fix the weird accent thingies so I'm doing test threads for him, but "test" got old and I made this one right after the fix didn't work...

For me it happens when my language setting switches to Canadian French. I have to switch it back to US every once in a while.

With me, it only happens when someone changes the message icon to a "custom" icon. The rest of the threads are fine. When your language settings change does it just do the thread title or people's posts? Mine is just the odd-iconed thread titles.

I've got it! Special emoticons for each board. Like the Banker from Monopoly for Market Talk, Suze Orman for WIR, Ben Bernanke for P&TM.
Annnnnnnnnnd, adult emoticons for the adult board!
There could be votes, recounts, pregnant chads, and then run-offs, photoshopping, then reconsideration, then final selections, then appeals to the Supreme Court and finally, ajudification by the Council of the Federation of Planets.

Umm, first we have to build the first warp engine so the Vulcans will find us.

Time stamps are weird too. If you use a quote the time stamp seems to be the time zone it originates from.

Maybe there should be some sort of graph thingy next to the avatars that shows how many hours before or after you each poster's local time zone is.
