He *had* to win the race tonight to win the championship..... and he overcame early front end damage, came from the back.... Carl Edwards led the most laps & finished 2nd..... points were tied at the end.... Tony wins the tie break by having 5, count em FIVE chase wins out of 10 races. He won 1/2 of the chase races....unheard of....


and now he's a 3x champ..... Great Job Smoke!

Glad to see it come down to a close finish. I think Carl would have made a great champion, but they both worked hard for it.

Heck, as long as there's no Busch brother in the mix, all is well by me!

I love Tony.. I decided to start being his fan about 4 years ago when I was remodeling the house and spending $$$$ at Home Depot! ;D

Aw, that's cute, gavinsnana! We're a split family in terms of home improvement. DH likes Home Depot, and I like Lowe's. So at least two teams get our money.

I think Tony has improved a great deal over the years. Owning a team has matured him quite a bit, and calmed him down some.
