Thank goodness I didn't have the chicken experience! Or the biting off of sheep balls either. Just the thought... My mom did like to eat pigs feet, and fried cow brains however... YUCK! How's your punch recipe coming Tosh? Have you found any takers???

My mom did like to eat pigs feet ------------------------- Mmmmm....trotters slowly simmered in garlic and rosemary! One of my favourite foods before I became a vegetarian.

Dearest Tosh,
I have a question for you. I am baffled, befuddled and bemused by something I have noticed of late. Perhaps you can explain to me how "some" people who believe every word of a certain book they have read and have become obsessed with its "goodness" reference this same book when being intolerant and quite nasty to a certain segment of society that they deem not "book" worthy.
How can people use something they claim as good in such a bad way?

toomuch: I really hope I am DONE with the blasted shopping. I tend to shop all year round and avoid the stores like the plague on Black Friday. I need to go through my boxes and make sure everyone is covered. The joys of both sets of parents being divorced is 7 grand parents to shop for....
Tosh: Why do some adults insist upon acting like spoilt children and believe they are entitled to everything?

Hey, MK- I am pretty much done too. Like you, I shop year round, and I am not a black Friday shopper. I imagine I will continue picking up little things until the day of, however, if I should see a bargain. Glad I don't have all those grandparents to buy for! I could use some suggestions for my 2 daughters' 20 something, boyfriends' though. Tosh???

I could use some suggestions for my 2 daughters' 20 something, boyfriends' though. Buy a live chicken. Take the 2 guys out in the back yard, use a hatchet to cut off the chicken's head. Tell them, if they hurt your daughters.... do I need to explain it gentlemen? Thanks for the suggestion. It kinda sounds like fun! I laughed right out loud when I read it! I owe you one! (I think that's some karma trying to get out. But I'd be careful, just in case!)

I would guess some one taught them as a child that they are entitled to everything, we are products of our environment.

Just clean your rifle at the table, looking down the barrel at them as you explain how much you love your daughter.... Works like a charm......

Heading back from Yosemite today. Standing in the valley looking at all the majesty of the shear cliff size can't but help make you realize, just how insignificant we are. (Being politically correct...... Wow! The forces of nature )

Apple, are you familiar with Gregory Colbert? He's my favourite photographer. (And a Canadian boy, to boot)
