My boss (who is a huge film buff) saw it and highly recommended it to me. I trust her judgment on these things.

It's got Colin Firth in it - that's all the incentive I need!

Just got back from seeing it, it was very good, and it's like a mini-Pride and Prejudice reunion with Jennifer Ehle (Elizabeth Bennet) and Mr. Collins (don't know the actors name), too. Beyond the Pride and Prejudice memories, it really was an excellent movie and well acted.

It is fantastic! I think it keeps your interest a lot better than Pride and Prejudice type movies. It actually was quite funny in places. Even guys will love it if you can convince them that it is NOT a stuffy British movie!
