Don't give up. Someone else said they had to type the url manually to finally get the avatar to show. Maybe that will work. Or you can send the message to Moonbeam and she will set it up for you.

You might be trying an avatar from a site with copyrights on their images and won't allow you to transfer it. If you have Windows Photo Gallery, try copying an image over to there first. Then take that image code (in .jpg or .gif format) and insert in the box for adding avatars. That's what I did to make it work.

angel, can you paste here (or send me a private message) with which one you're trying to use? some of those sites add so much extra crap because they're meant for myspace or whatever. it gets hard to weed through..
