Ain't them urges a pain in the tail? It's sooo easy to remember all the good times while forgetting we're no longer as young as we once were; nor, are we as naive. Second time around almost always turns out to be a lot less than we dreamed it was going to be!

If you cannot afford it, do not do it. There are plenty of ways to make great memories. Tenting is one, but it's not for everyone.

Rent an RV for a week or month. It's less expensive in the long run and you don't have the maintenance and storage.

Like I mentioned, we thought about it, but having it be ALL our own is part of the memory/fantasy. Rent one and take 1 trip....just enough time to jog the "oh remember what a pain in the butt this was last time?" memory....you'll get the 'want it' out of your system & remind yourself the reasons why you got rid of it the first time. |

Oh, Duh..I got it...to bring back all the bad memories. Yes, that might work. yep.....as someone is having to drain the septic system at a camp ground you can say "do we really want this again?"....you can also compare gas prices then & now as is "with the price of gas, we wouldn't be able to go as much as we did before"..... don't try to kill the good memories, but just jog up the bad ones to remind yourselves why you sold the first time. |

I don't know about you but whenever I try to recreate my favorite memories it is never the same and usually not as good. Better to make new wonderful memories!
