One of those days with a whopping headache that Tylenol, etc isn't going to make a dent in.

It doesn't help that I have been sleeping poorly in the last few days, being paranoid that I won't wake up on time.

Excedrin! It's a freaking god-send and I'm an atheist!

that reminds me, I need to get a bottle of Tylenol. I hate that it's the only pain reliever I can take because it normally does nothing for me.

Aw, I'm sorry Cheesey. Excedrin and caffeine together sometimes helps, though you may stay awake all weekend. When you say you are paranoid about not waking up on time...you mean an alarm clock does not do anything for you, or do you need one of those models that reaches out and smacks you?

Nancy...I can't even hear an alarm clock anymore. DH is my alarm clock...and he reaches out!

I hate making him wake me up when I want to be up, so this week, I end up waking up repeatedly to check what time it is. One of the cats decided it need to sleep on my chest 2 nights in a row too. That didn't help!

There have to be alarm clocks for the hard of hearing that don't involve feeling guilty for making your SO do it.

I don't use it though since we have been married. He is a very light sleeper, and every little thing wakes him up!

Sorry about your headache Cheesy, those suck. What works for me is taking Excedrin, then going back to sleep before the caffeine in there kicks in. If I can't go back to sleep, I alternate Excedrin and Advil every 2 hours (so I'm not double dosing on anything), and after a couple rounds things are usually better.
