My skin reacts to sandal clasps, watch clasps, back of the snaps on jeans, necklaces, etc. Earrings would drive me crazy within an hour. Allergy drugs do nothing for it. Good quality gold used to be ok-but gold jewelry these days is "cut" with inferior metals so even that label cant be trusted. That is why I am so thrilled with the DressBarn hypoallergenic earrings-I wore one pair all day yesterday another pair today-zero allergy issues.
I love the Swarovski stuff-I visited their store at Mall of America and saw the most beautiful wine glasses where the stems were crystals. I can imagine all sorts of applications for their stuff including fake fireplaces, chandeliers, curtains, :-) You can buy them loose at a craft store like Michaels and dress up jewelry you already have.

I love and miss wearing jewelry. I cannot wear any jewelry at work except for wedding bands with no stone. I used to put earings, diamond back on for the weekend but would forget to take them off and have no safe place to store them at work so now I usually only wear jewelry when I'm off work for more than just the wkend. I have a pretty jewelry box to store it in and have told my husband not to get me anymore jewelry because it just sits in the box.
