Hillarious! Raunchy, not for children. Melissa McCarthy from Mike and Molly steals the movie. Be sure to watch the "extra" feature on the dvd for the segment that features just her charachter. Good acting because you would never imagine the sweet woman on Mike and Molly being able to pull off that reverse role.

I have a standing "date" with my sis, who's getting married next summer, to watch this. she tells me it's hysterical, but I'm a little apprehensive because I can't stand a couple of the actresses in the bridal party. is it the ladies' version of "The Hangover" or something comparable? I really hope not......

My husband and I saw it at the theatre - funniest movie I have seen in a long time!
I have loved Melissa McCarthy since she was Sookie on Gilmore Girls - it is so funny seeing her in a completely different role.
We loved it. One of my hubby's friends he wasn't going to see it because it's "a chick flick." It totally isn't, but he couldn't be convinced otherwise!

I saw it a few weeks ago and thought it wouldn't be that great but I love Maya Rudolph and Kristen Wiig, so wanted to see it. Maybe it was my low expectations going in but I thought it was hilarious.

I moved this movie up on the list and glad I did! started out a bit slow and not funny - but it did get better I even saw myself having the over reaction at the fear of loosing my x-best friend well in the movie she went wayyy over-board - so I didn't go THAT far but I did over -react that I was loosing her and I felt bad for the character in the movie. still a great movie and funny |
