Not so happy for me though. This has been like the worst Birthday week ever!!!
Yesterday when I was leaving for work I found water all over the floor down in the mud room. It was the water heater so that cost $2600 to replace.

And then my 20 yr old back up microwave also blew up yesterday morning. I was going to buy a new one for my Birthday. Now luckily I actually had a back up to my back up in the garage that I had bought used back in the early 2000's and it still works!!! So now I can put off that expense for a while longer.

Ugghhh I am so ready for the weekend.

Bummed that Iceland lost their match this morning. But they aren't out yet.

Well not only did we smash the heat record yesterday but we tied the all time highest heat record ever at 105.
A nice cool down to the 70's and 80's this weekend but then right back up to the mid 90's next week. UGH!

We finally got some rain last night but not nearly enough. Back to the mid to upper 90's with no moisture in sight for at least the next week. Half our state is on fire.

We cooled down to the 80's for a couple of days but so far the monsoon moisture the weatherman has been promising is a no show and we need rain badly!!

So far this has been the 2nd warmest summer on record here and we are only half way through.

Happy Friday Slackers!!!

We have finally cooled down to decent temps and we are getting like an entire season's worth of rain in a matter of days. Everyday a different part of the city gets hammered with up to 2 inches of rain in like an hour. Weds evening it was in my neighborhood. Boy it was loud and I have an issue with my bedroom window leaking sometimes when the rain hits just so because it was installed improperly and it was really bad yesterday.
My street was flooded and when I looked out the window I saw one of the neighbors chasing his trash can floating down the street because he hadn't taken it in before the storm hit.

Short week for me next week! I am taking Thursday and Friday off!! 2 of my board members will be visiting me!!
