the holiday schedule changed this year at work. we now get a total of 3 days off! business is closed until Wednesday and back to work on Thursday. Which of course most people will be on va-ka Thursday and Friday next week

to my surprise! work was not as empty as I thought it would have been on Thursday and Friday last week! maybe because Friday June 30. the office was so close to empty with people "working from home"! LOL then Thursday and Friday last week. the office was packed! both days. even with people out on va-ca. people were mostly saying they really didn't do anything extra, or go out during our three day Holiday. which I was glad and comforted to hear. because I most certainly didn't do anything special, different than what I do on weekends. also I am surprised. Saturday to Wednesday and not working. I was not as bored as I had expected to be. So now it's currently Sunday. all this rest and slacking was so great!  but, not looking forward to going back to work on Monday! maybe tomorrow should be a vacation day! LOL  |

Slacking Saturday! > actually slept late until close to 10AM > made a very unhealthy breakfast of Pancakes and bacon with maple syrup and Apple Juice! > got sleepy again! whet back to bed > actually slept until close to 12:30PM > made a very unhealthy lunch of (1) cheeseburger with the left over bacon and a can Pepsi > took a shower, cleared up some shows from my DVR > then OH MY! it's dinner time! > but I wasn't hungry! > made a big salad of lettuce, shredded cheese, pickles, red onion, with French dressing feeling so relaxed and easy going |
