After reading his post it makes me a little sad. All those years of ignoring his posts!

Yes it is kinda sad. It's only proper to immortalize his first post from The Aberration Continues (05/21/08 02:30 PM)
Yesterday I posted a long message about what happened down here monday and tuesday but Jubak and/or his cronies decided to delete it...Oh well. Let me try again....Monday when the market was up over 140 points we started hearing ramblings that a selloff would start at about 1400-1430 hrs and it happened...We barely ended up about 40 points and tuesday was just a continuation......The market is still controlled by these manipulators and crooks that are completely out of control....Do not blame Sandisk nor oil....These cheaters are doing and undoing at will....And nothing will change because the ones that can do something, the SEC are completely asleep at the wheel...The word this morning was to continue the selloff...The Fed notes are just another excuse, we were over 100 down before they came out....These crooks are in a wonderful mood down here, its unreal....They keep stealing and stealing while regular investors are losing it all....Doesn't matter what we try to do, today will probably be another 200 point loss or more and why??? Because manipulators are doing anything and everything they want down here...Its unbelievable...Oh well

Word on Wall Street is that an unidentified trader among them is preparing sworn testimony as a John Doe witness for the prosecution in a massive securities fraud and market manipulation case. The case is rumored to be damning to both scumbag elements of the NYSE and impotent members of the SEC itself. More later.

Aargh! Market pummeled today and I have no clue why or how. The charts seem to indicate selling increased at 1330 hours - is that true? Did someone send in co-ordinated sell orders? Who would do such a thing? What in Hades was going on down on the floor today? This is terrible. Does anyone have any intel on what's going on?

I blame everything on the bossa nova. But sometimes . . . . you never know. It could be one thing, it could be the other.

Velcro? String? Surely you jest.
The S&P was down 10X more than the DOW today - that kind of divergence hasn't happened in two years! The two indexes are supposed to move in lockstep, as the international program traders use diverse baskets of US stocks as surrogates for the dollar. Today it was almost as if the programs' algorithms know the difference between shit and shinola. Something very odd and unsettling is afoot. It reminds me of the bad old days of "price discovery"; of a "market of stocks" instead of a "stock market".
Where's CGT1 when we need him!?! What's going on down on the floor? Who's in charge, the white hats or the black hats? And what's the SEC up to?

Had not heard this.......and yes, I agree is very odd the divergence on the DOW.......Was it the day of the first vote on TARP which was a large NO or the next day that mysteriously the market dropped hundreds of points? Next vote on TARP, PASSED!

It's good to have elected officials who can follow orders propertly.
