I will bet the farm that he read all posts on there. I said 6 or more months ago that imho, he is or was a trader on some investment wire house trading floor. He started that thread in May 2008, a few months after Bear Stearns imploded in Feb./Mar 2008. For all we know, he used to work for them before being laid off there. Or he is a typical day trader myopically glued to the trading activities of each day. I know some in the trading world who find it is very helpful to air their emotions daily to somehow balance their trading with their outside life. His dialogue is a cathartic diary to release his trading emotions every single day. It is a freudian way of mental release. However, you can argue it is bordering on the insane if not already. This is all a theory of mine for a time now.

The funny thing with CGT1 to me was that he believed when the Dow was going up the 'good guys' were winning and when the Dow was going down the 'scum bag manipulators' were winning. Based on that it seemed that CGT1 believed that the Dow should continue to go up forever if not for the 'scum bags'. That would be a nightmare. Dow 14,000---20,000---30,000---infinity. Can you imagine what the P/E's would look like if CGT1 had his way. lol

It's kind of funny because CGT1 was posting from Florida. I implied such on his thread a couple of times but didn't want to really "out" the guy. He was probably sitting on the beach using an IPhone or WiFi to post. Strange character.

NO! I don't know him but as a Moderators on the MSN Boards we had a tool box to allow us to track where the posters were posting from and how many aliases the poster had.

In the entire time that I was reading MT which included the CGT1 thread, I can only remember him acknowleging one poster and answered him. In his answer he included that he almost never read any other posts in his thread.
Ironically, the person that CGT1 responded to...ignored him. lol

Well I sure hope CGT1 doesn't make it over here as he throws my entire investment strategy off. Just when I think I have a plan, I read his posts... and then buy, then sell, no I must buy again and not let them scumbags win... and then sell at the bottom... and buy back again at the top. Well, apparently CGT1 had been reading some posts on the old MT. His last post was 12/31. There will be no 'more later'. He also said something of a farewell to us in that post.

Like we said earlier, too many of these trash and they manipulated the market down...Oh well, basically another flat day to end the year. We hope from here that everyone has a very happy New Year...We go back to work next week, back to the fight and struggles with these crooks. Many out there just think that the market goes up because there is good news and the sun is shining others think the market goes down because its gloomy out there. Well, not exactly. This market is manipulated and has been forever; maybe not as bad as it is lately. Always listen to people that know, that are here or have been here; do not listen to what we used to call in the Army, sh.t house lawyers and we have plenty of those, especially on these boards that's why most people that know and care don't bother reading these things, they just give advise whenever they can. Helping people is something that we enjoy doing...Oh well, good luck everyone and if you ever have a chance, visit the NYSE, it will blow your mind, its not like where you are right now and you actually have to get dressed. Try it at least once in your lives. And for you shi.t house lawyers, you will never change, we know that...Oh well...Too bad.
