This sounds delicious! I am going to try it, but instead of blending it all up, I'll leave everything whole! Yum, I can't wait!

I tried this soup; it's great! I left half a can of beans whole and blended the rest. Since I'm not vegetarian, I used beef broth I had on hand. Topped it with a dollop of sour cream and some shredded Mexican cheese. It's really excellent! It'll be in my repertoire for a good long time.
I used Taco Bell Medium Thick 'N Chunky Salsa. If I wanted more spice, I'd get hot salsa. The medium was perfect for me, though, and the chunky salsa added a nice texture.
Since it's just me, I had a bowl last night, another is in the fridge, and I'll get two more meals out of what I froze. So I'd say it serves 4 - or maybe 2 with hearty appetites.

I happened on cans of refried black beans with chilis on closeout. I bought several cans and plan to go back for more.
I made this soup quickly with the black beans and some left over ranch beans. I bought then forgot to put in the cumin. I can add that to the left overs.
I made a serving of mixed vegetables to add to mine.
DH made his like a chili pie with tortilla chips and cheese.
I loved how quickly this came together on a cold day.
