Zantac - especially the fast acting one works for my DH much better than the Tums or other regular stuff. I find that Zantac usually does the trick; but sometimes if I'm not hurting too badly, I'll try one of the others first. They rarely work very well any more; but they used to. THANKS. I will check that out.

How many do you need to purchase for the UP and can you do multiples in one transaction and get multiple UPs? Thanks. The deal is "spend $30, get $10 Up". It does track, but I'm not sure if the limit is more than 1 or not. The Cover Girl is Buy 1, get 1 50% off this week, so, you will need to spend $30 before coupons, then use the $8/2 coupons. I did the deal yesterday. I only had 3 coupons, but it was still a decent deal. Something went wonky at the register though and I ended up short of the $30, even though I added it ahead of time. I think the cashier messed it up somehow because she scanned something more than once, so when she took it off, it caused one of my lower priced items to be the full price item instead of the higher priced item she voided. I totally didn't have the time or energy to figure it out at the time, so had them void one of the lower priced items and add a higher priced item. I probably over paid a bit, but I guess it all worked out in the end. I asked before I picked out my items how they will ring at the register and was told the higher priced items will ring at full price and the lower at 50% off. If you have enough coupons, it's probably safer and easier to buy all the same price items, but I didn't because there were certain items I wanted in the deal, but if you aren't picky about what you get, you can probably make out better by buying all same priced items.

For those looking for a deal on Cottonelle this was on Living Rich With Coupons today. It is for Walgreens and won't work till Friday 10/7 but I though some might be interested. " Buy 2 Cottonelle Toilet Paper 12 pack $5.00 each -(2)$0.75/1 Cottonelle Coupon from the 9/11 SS insert -$1/1 Cottonelle Walgreens Coupon ($2 will automatically deduct) Pay: $6.50 Get a $3.00 Register Reward (catalina) $1.75 each after coupons & RR
Buy 2 Cottonelle Toilet Paper 12 pack $5.00 each -(2)$0.50/1 Cottonelle Coupon from the 10/2 SS insert -$1/1 Cottonelle Walgreens Coupon ($2 will automatically deduct) Pay: $7.00 Get a $3.00 Register Reward (catalina) $2.00 each after coupons & RR
REMEMBER: These deals will not work until Friday, 10/7!" beachbum: Way to find and post the deals!! ;D For those considering this deal: Even though the WAGs Cottonelle is 1-ply, it is thicker than the FREE RA generic TP. If the square footage has not changed, it will pass the $.01/sq. ft. test. HTH

Does anyone know if the Ultrasoft is included in this deal? I seem to remember seeing a Kimberly Clarke insert (part of a SW insert) in one of the papers last month and I know there was a 1$ off for the Ultrasoft in it.

Leanna, were you the tea requestor? Yup, I was the tea requester. There was someone else too. And I got some from peeps on here and some from trades on Slickdeals. So I figured if the other person needed it more, they could get from you first. Buuuut, if she doesn't want 'em I will gladly take 'em because I place a large order w/a store for the special tea I buy and will buy as many boxes as coupons. <tackles leanna> I don't want to hurt you .. but you need to back away . I don't necessarily need it more, so you can go ahead. I did get a couple more from someone else. I will still take anymore that anyone has though since it doesn't expire until 1/2012.

I did a small CVS trans today. I also got 2 cover girl products from my DD. I got a powder base and blush. There were cheaper things but this is what she needed and I wanted it so I didn't mind burning my ECB's on them. 1 Dr Scholls gel insert $9.99 1 CG pow foundation 9.49 1 CG pow blush 3.39 after 50% off Total before coupons 22.87 plus 0.76 tax, minus 8/2 CG MC, 3/1 Dr Scholls MC and $12.27 in ECB's for a final OOP of 0.36 cents. Dancin just to be clear that even if I had a WAGs nearby DH would want me to see a psychologist if I said I wanted to buy more TP right now.

Beachbum: You're welcome and thank you for your envie, which I got in the mail today. Rite Aid: The awesome Cover Girl deal they have this week looks like it will be repeated in a couple of weeks. I checked out iheartriteaid's 10-16 adscan. There is also a P&G $10.00 rebate to make this an even sweeter deal. I printed the rebate off the internet. Like Constanz said, it's easier to do this deal if you buy all like products. I'm making up a girlie gift basket for a fundraiser and the makeup will come in handy for this.

It is an unadvertised month long special. The bags are only 1 lb and I have had rice stored for pretty long ans never had it go bad before. I do keep it in air tight containers in a cabinet so maybe that helps. I will check the dates again though. Thanks for the heads up. ;D

Oh, dear--we had this discussion awhile back! I think your DS might have something to say about this--although I'd keep him in Yakoba noodles, for sure! Is the girlfriend no more? I only had one insert with the Old El Paso and already used the one q. Sorry--taco casserole beckoned.

There is a gal he hangs out with regularly, but I don't think it's going to go anywhere. I told blues, he's been up for dibs for a while. ;D Whoever takes him would have to support him, cuz he'll be giving up (3) part-time jobs!! His life is CRAZY busy these days.

Sorry, Beachbum, No Carolina rice q's here either. I know the brand, because that's what I'd buy in NY. Not sure if they even sell it out here. Nice Shoprite trip - lot of good food for the money! I've never had rice go bad...didn't even know it could truthfully. DancinMama, I have to say I'm shocked you would mention food going bad. I feel like you're the one person who would eat something 5 years old.

I do let common sense and my nose be my guide. ;D I did have some rice that I could tell was no good. It smelled rancid, so out it went. It doesn't happen to me often.

For those looking for a deal on Cottonelle this was on Living Rich With Coupons today. It is for Walgreens and won't work till Friday 10/7 but I though some might be interested.

If the square footage has not changed, it will pass the $.01/sq. ft. test. HTH beachbum: thanks for posting this. I hadn't seen it, and I like Cottonelle. After the free Rite Aid TP (which has caused me to drop my fairly low standards down to nothing!), I'm happy to get Cottonelle at a good price. Although I do like to use the TP principle as a guideline, there is certainly a difference between TP like Rite Aid's and Walgreen's, and others, even if they're all single ply. I think Cottonelle is a strong step above those store brands, so I would pay more for it.

However, when there is a limit of two or more on a deal, you can make the purchases all at once and get multiple Ups. You just need to watch the limits. Rite Aid is definitely easier to shop than Walgreens, and that's one reason.

Hey hounds :insert dog icon that proboards will not put here for some reason: I know I asked about this before, but I got my All You mag this weekend and they are reminding me that I only have 1. ISSUE. LEFT. I know someone had mentioned a magazine fundraiser, but I missed the last few pages of the September thread and I didn't know if that had come up again. So, if anyone has spotted any good deals, please post or PM. Thanks! BFF and I are taking a trip to DC this weekend. We are going to eat delicious food and watch hockey Hotels are so expensive, but I think I found a decent deal. At least it comes with free breakfast...
