skubikky/kathyattraverse: I looked in the HCW database and there is nothing available right now on Purina ONE cat food , BUT HOUND ALERT $4/1 Purina ONE Dog Food (10/9 SS) When I went to check the data base for skubikky, I saw the $4/1 dog food Q. For whatever reason we did not get the SS that weekend - very unusual. If anyone has any of these to spare, I would love to have them. I now have (2) doggies so our dog food consumption has increased by 50%. dancinmama : If I got it in my paper, then you can have mine ( I don't have a pet.). I have 6 for you and I still have you info. If I can make the time, I'll put it in the mail on my way to work in 2 hours but more than likely on Sat/Mon

Bluesclues: I love your trainer!! His emphasis on functional exercise is what I try to emphasize to my patients, and I love the analogy of working off the small size candies, as I can't get many of my patients off "walking on the treadmill" idea of exercise... don't think I could handle it at 5 a.m., though...... Yeah, he's pretty great. I just started with him a couple of weeks ago. Day 1 I couldn't do a single push up. Yesterday was Day 17 and I did 19 consecutive. Small miracle. For those who are interested, search Benergy Fitness on youtube. He has a bunch of videos showing the functional exercise. That works better for me. I do 5 minutes on a treadmill and am done. I never even sweat. But with his "exercises" I work until exhaustion and can really feel the difference. And yeah, he's much cuter at 5pm than 5am. lol

I got excited because Fry's had Amy's Pizza on sale for $3.99 of course the No cheese pizza or the soy pizza were not part of the sale. . I guess I will have to go to Fresh and Easy and pay $5.00. or wait for them to be marked down. I always feel like I get the short end of the stick on sales not being able to eat dairy products. Ok my rant is over.

Saveinla and Debinaweb, I got your envies, thanks!!!!! Jeep I completely understand. When My son was little he was allergic to dairy. Man was it a pain tring to buy everything dairy free. Not only are things like soy milk more expensive but they put powdered milk in everything it seems.

hey hound pound!! so i've been reading but not posting because i haven't had i-net at home for the last couple of months. i have it now so can contribute a little. i made a randall's run (aka safeway) tonight because i got a flier in the mail with some really good store coupons & if i had read the back properly i could have saved a bit more. there was a $10/50 after mfc store q on the back i didn't notice until checkout. after mfc's i was ~$35 so i didn't want to think on the fly to try to come up with $15 more. anyway, here is what it looked like... sw ranch dressing 1.69 sw q for free dressing -1.69 sw teriyaki marinade 1.99 (reg. 2.49) sw q for free - 1.99 sw peach/pineapple salsa 3.00 (reg. 3.29) sw q for free - 3.00 sw rice 0.75 sw q for free - 0.75 mission tortillas 1.59 (reg. 1.69) sw q for free -1.59 mission chips 2.29 (reg. 3.19) sw q - 1.00 sw frozen corn 1.29 sw q for free -1.29 baileys creamer ( TY beach!!) 2.39 (reg. 2.59) x2 mfc from hound friend - 1.00 x2 digiorno pizza 5.00 (reg. 6.99) x2 mfc expires 10/31/11 (don't remember insert info) -1.00 x2 donut 0.16 (half price happy hour but was even lower than half off? not sure how that happened but happy hound i am ;D) sw boneless skinless frozen chicken breast 6.68 (reg. 10.99) sw q - 4.00 fresh express salad 1.00 (reg. 2.99) sw q for free - 1.00 Total OOP - 14.91, plus i received a $1 OYNO CAT for the digiorno. that means for less than the full price of the 2 pizzas i got all that listed above!!!! this was my best hound in a couple of weeks for sure!!

Hey hounds, just wanted to let you know that Aldi had flour for .89 yesterday. I know there has been a lot of talk of prices lately. I should have grabbed one but I just got 2 bags of Gold Medal for freap in the GM deal a couple weeks ago.

GDA at WAGS - the sonicare electric toothbrushes & refill heads are on sale & you can use the $25 mfc (SS 10/16) on either if you know a coupon savvy cashier. it will beep because the register will ask for the amount of the coupon to be entered. the brushes are 39.99 & the refills are 24.99 so 14.99 for the brushes & 0.01 overage on the refills. i know not everyone will be able to get this deal but if you are on BFF terms with a WAGS employee you shouldn't have any problems. ;D

So I spend $39.99 on the brush and use a $25 mfc. And $24.99 for the brushes, have them adjust the price down (per their policy unless they've changed it) and I'm getting the toothbrush for $14.99 and the refills for free? I'm on this! Maybe even twice so I can give one for Christmas.

p8nt - i'm very good friends with the BA at my WAGS (we babysit each others son - both are 3 y.o. & adore each other) so she told me of the deal & i did it three times because while my mom & gma were here they were talking about getting new brushes & i wanted one for me too.

Awesome! I did two small trans at Shoprite. The first I bought 6 Bar-s hotdogs and 3 packs birds eye veg using 3 .75/2 doubling to $1/2 and 3 0.50/1 doubling to 0.99 cents coupons i got from friendly hounds. ;D My final OOP was $2.89. My second trans I bought everything from the 1st again and same coupons plus $20.64 worth of Shoprite brand alergy meds and non aspirin. I also used a $10 cat from b-4 on this trans action and paid $13.48 OOP plus I got another $10 cat back.

I was out of flour, so bought some yesterday at Sfwy for just a minor sale price. It was $2.29 I think. Not the end of the world compared to other prices. But I should be able to do better w/upcoming sales & coupons near the holidays.

hi folks! I usually just lurk and gather some tips - but I lucked into a great deal (I think) today at Whole Foods and thought I would share in case it helps anyone.
At the end of the registers where they bag groceries they have a thin newsletter/coupon book that changes every couple of months. The coupons are for use at Whole Foods only. The November/December one just came out and I was flipping through it as the cashier was taking other coupons offand saw a GREAT DEAL:
The coupon is for $2 off a any one 12 oz package of 365 Everyday Value Dark Chocolate Mini Chuncks, White Choc. Chunks, Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips or Organic Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips.
I had picked up 2 bags of the Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips to use in a recipe and each bag was 2.29. I ripped out the coupon (and then another from a 2nd one) and the cashier took them off. So each 12 oz bag was only 29 cents!
It isn't free but it was pretty darn FREAP!
Anyway hope the helps someone!

I should have known. Yes! I love the BA at my store. She's wonderful. We also have a really great clerk that I like. I did have to educate the manager about adjusting coupons down, he refused until he got a call from corporate. He's happy to do it now.

RA is going to be pretty quiet this upcoming week. The Bayer aspirin is the only free/MM thing that I can find.
But I am quite cheery thinking about those chocolate chips that Spruby just posted about.

I wish we had a Whole Foods around here. I'd love to do that choc chip deal. But for those of you like me, maybe this will work for you.
I have a J4U price on Nestle Tollhouse semi-sweet chocolate chips of $2.58. They are B1G1F this week so $1.29 per pkg. There's a $1/2 q in the 8/21 SS which would bring the price down to .79 per pkg. I'll be doing this deal this week for sure as that's a really good price and the baking season is coming up.
I don't know if everybody gets the JFU price on these but I think maybe they do cuz I haven't bought baking stuff at SW is eons.

Reporting in...no November Whole Foods coupon books available at my store. But will go back on the first of Nov to snag the deal that Spruby wrote about!
(But I did get 3 free Imagine Turkey gravys!)

FYI - You can find printable versions of the "current" coupons from the September/October Whole Foods booklet at: wholefoodsmarket.com/coupons/The all look to be good till 11/30/11 - in case they are out of copies at your Whole Foods. The best deal we got out of the book was the $1 off a jar of the 365 pasta sauce - some types are only $2.29/jar - and I use it as a "base" when I make my pasta sauce. I expect the one I found today to show up on Tuesday - but then these will disappear

I need some suggestions! DH and I are eligible for new phones but DD is not, until April. Our current phones are older BB's. We did find 'free' after MIR phones for ourselves, but DD's current phone is not working well. We switched her number over to one of the BB's but she is miserable and hates it! I feel so bad for her! other than giving her MY phone, what other options do I have? Other than Ebay or Craigslist, where would I find a refurbished touch screen phone? Any suggestions would be appreciated. I am going to ask around at work to see if anybody has one they would like to sell for cheap.

what carrier do you have? With At&T all you would have to do is go buy one of their go-phones and switch out the sim chip, wouldn't be classified as an upgrade. Or ck w/your carrier and see if they'll let you upgrade hers early if you are upgrading yours and DH's anyways. Would be worth a shot.
