Looking for a coleslaw dressing that leans more towards a creamy than a vinegary.

Personally, I do not like creamy coleslaw BUT you might want to try one of these:
ranch dressing + lemon juice or white wine vinegar + seasonings 1/2 Mayo + 1/2 plain yougurt + lemon juice or white wine vinegar + seasonings
You can substitute low or no fat easily.

Cheesy - try this one from All Recipes.
1/4 cup mayonnaise, 1/2 cup sour cream, 2 tablespoons Dijon-style prepared mustard, 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar.

Cheesy, I just use mayo/miracle whip w/ a bit of sugar sprinkled in it. I've used that for years...it's creamy.

Another vote for the mayo/sugar mix... I also throw in some sweet pickle relish which substitutes for the vinegar and helps with the creamy!

I use mayo thinned with either apple or pineapple juice (add sugar as needed for the right sweet/sour balance) and then put diced apple or pineapple chunks in the coleslaw. If you use canned pineapple chunks, you can just use the liquid from the can.

Mayo thinned with white wine vinegar and sweetened with a little sugar.

I saw a recipe for cole slaw dressing that was tofu-based instead of mayo based. Supposedly it tasted much the same, but has like 1/8th of the fat and calories - plus it is vegan friendly. Anyone interested in me tracking that down and trying it?

My mom use to use Henri's Tas tee dressing. I think "Tas tee" was the flavor or maybe "Tas Tee was part of the brand name and the flavor was just "original"... don't know if they still make it or not. Add the dressing and celery seeds to the cabbage and carrots. It's a creamy sweet-ish kind of salad dressing.
