Actually it is more like my forearm that hurts from all of that snow shoveling. What did you think it was you pervs!?!?!? As of 10am we had 23 inches of snow and it's been snowing since. It will stop in about 4 hours.

If your wrists and forearms hurt from snow shoveling, you're not doing it right. Lift with your legs, not your forearms. And why are you shoveling anyway? Doesn't your HOA take care of that? Or the dog lady, since she owns the sidewalks?

Knowing you as long as I have, a couple of choices sprang to mind. I heard about your snow, and all things considered, I guess we got off lucky here. About 10 inches, and they did a good job clearing the roads this morning. Good luck and be careful there.

Yes, the HOA did clear the road and the sidewalks. But they don't do cars. #tongue2#

Back in the day, we used to sometimes brag about "plowing the snow", but that's another story.

When my wife retired she was wanting to move back to MN. Luckily we had to live in Tx for a year so she was given a chance to think about it. The first winter Mn (where her family lives) got something like 8 ft of snow (at different times). Every time we talked to them or emailed them they were dealing with driveways, etc. My wife quickly added up the fact & saw that doing the snow thing would have been a killer for us (even with 2 members of her family owning a snow plow). By the 3rd year here she couldn't understand why anyone would want to live up there. (Also her family has a lot of arthritis so it must me HELL in the winter time dealing with snow).

What did you expect Sypdah, 23 inches is a lot if you aren't used to it

Your wrist and forearm wouldn't hurt so much if you didn't spend all that time prior to shoveling doing.... (Stops herself before this thread gets moved to AC) Karma to you!
