Apple has the problem of having to maintain an unearthly revenue stream to justify their stock price. The question becomes: how many iPhone 9's and iPad 4's can American consumers buy before they don't feel like purchasing the next upgrade.
That said, I was thinking the same thing a year ago and Apple's revenues haven't dwindled since then.

The last dozen posts or so on my thread on IBB are related to Apple. Take a peek. AAPL is still hugely under valued. $600 is by year end is not too high. The American market is only a fraction of the revenue stream.

If I weren't so hung up on dividends I'd own some AAPL.

Don't fall in love with your stocks!! My long term bet is on IBM Virginian, I was just taking a swipe at Virgil. He's Canadian and as such is fair game for abuse.

Apple has no competition now or in the foreseeable future.
They also have a few years of products in the pipeline.
They are still undervalued.

Apple has been and is a great company. And they may do well without Steve Jobs but I don't own it for two reasons:
1. It doesn't pay a dividend
2. Everybody seems to be in Love with Apple - I can't buy into their always having the best Gadgets - Sooner or later another company is going to have the best Gadgets.

1974 - bought IBM calls @ 1.00 and 2 weeks later they were @ 17.00
Coming into IBM's 4th qtr. The 4th is their biggest.
The overall stock market also looks strong at least to Jan. But I wouldn't wait 6 months.
