Please sanitize the typing fingers and keep this clean. We know how randy some of you are ;D.
Does anyone have an adventures they look for each year? I like to find something I would not ordinarily do and take a class. This year was supposed to be fly fishing, but the class was canceled at the last minute.
A friend started me on this years ago. She helped someone build a wilderness cabin one summer, restored an old house and visited every park in the city she was in. Usually with a sack lunch in hand.
It's a bucket list sort of thing.
ETA - correct spelling

We took a boat through the Grand Canyon. It was marketed as an adventure, but we went with a high service provider - so all we had to do was show up. We will do it again the day my son turns 12. (Okay - maybe not the day, but hopefully that year, or we may wait until the following spring.) I highly suggest the trip. It was incredible.

My life is one big adventure. No need to seek it out.

Are you tired, Dr. Pig? Too much adventure can be exhausting!
Quote from somewhere - Adventure is a state of mind. I think about the little kids that "go around the block" and what fun that is for them.

An ice cream shake with protein powder and a banana will perk you right up. ;D

Why have you been living off protein powder? A big steak might help.

I have to head out west (SD) hunting every year. It's been 12 years in a row so far. It's good for the soul.
Are you supposed to live off of just protein powder?

No. It's an exaggeration though. I'm am doing a lot of protein supplementation though, much more than I normally would. I'm taking in about 400-500g a day or about 5-8 protein powder servings. I'm eating about 1200-1800 calories a day my appetite just isn't there and I'm not force feeding myself, at least for the next 4-6 weeks.

Do these boards cause appetite suppression since you and Mad Dawg can't eat? I'd drop weight on those calories, which would probably be good.
An adventure in eating for my DD today was the Quiznos prime rib and black pepper sub bought with a 2/1 coupon.
Someone on another thread on this board was on vacation and fed a giraffe! I got to see a muskox eat. That was through the cable and extremely heaving, high fencing.

I look forward to our annual bicycling/camping adventures. I've biked 400 miles across upstate NY along the Eerie Canal, 120 miles through Custer State Park in South Dakota, 250 miles across Missouri along the Katy rail trail (done that 3 or 4 times now - it's our default ride for years when we want to save money for a bigger ride the next year), and this summer we're doing a circuit tour of Michigan that will include a few days on Mackinaw Island, as well as camping on the beach by Lake Michigan. We're looking at a ride through the Florida Keys, and I'd also love to do RAGBRAI in Iowa, because I hear that's a week long party.
Some people don't think that waking up in a tent and biking 40-50 miles only to do it again is fun. It's a total adventure, and an awesome way to see new parts of the country from ground level, so to speak.

The rides sound fun to me but it's not something I pursue. I do have friend's who are l.d. riders. I cannot sit a bike that long. One of those fancy $5 large recumbant bikes might work for me.
