LOL - I haven't quit, and I'm still making progress on my weight loss. I'm just not very excited about posting anything. I'm down another 2 pounds - 11 pounds total.

I wish J would at least update my number of pounds lost. I think its now 4lbs. total although today the scale says I lost more. Midweek next week I'll probably have a more accurate reading. Wish more people would post especially those that are struggling. I have to be very careful to not have reversals due to eating the wrong thing or trying to save money making cookies for example. ( Tried a new recipe and since it wasn't bar cookies I let the excuse of my small kitchen counters get in the way of baking and freezing them right away. Temporarily reversed some weight loss. Again. ) I could use some support from others who tend to lose at the rate of 1 pound or less a week but can gain 3 or more a week just by not being careful.

I get major cravings, etc., and go a bit overboard. I decided to try something different and am working to reduce my cravings and boost my brain. I'm an emotional overeater and take SAMe, Flaxseed Oil, Calcium and a multivitamin. I also make sure that my blood sugar doesn't get out of whack. I will overeat for sure. I also record everything I eat and how much water I drink. I'm trying to drink 1/2 oz water per lb of body weight. I did that fairly gradually over a few days and noticed that once my body adapted to the extra water, I wasn't running to the bathroom all the time. I'm also trying to get to the gym, but haven't been as successful at that. But I've noticed a difference already and have lost 3 lbs in the last 12 days. I'm hoping to keep doing this and not let myself get too flustered or frustrated and give up.

I won't post any of my indescretions here. I am too afraid people would revel in my failure or hold onto it until it suits them to bring it up and throw it back in my face.

Sorry. Updated. I've been swamped at work, so I haven't been around much.

Congratulations, Later, and all you others who are working so hard to better your health and fitness. It isn't an easy thing to do for most, so you all deserve a lot of credit for persevering.

Shouldn't the 15 weeks be up by now? What were the results?

Where is everyone? I'm curious about the results. It's like I was watching a movie and right at the end when I was about to find out who the killer was, the DVR stopped recording. Did you all quit?

I believe the 15 weeks is up. I've lost about 13 pounds, and seem to be hovering around that point.
It seems like this board took a turn to focus more on power lifting and stuff, so I stopped hanging here. The EE invasion took over the other half of the board. Do we still talk about nutrition and weight loss? Or just squat form and who is sexier?

Good job on the 13 pounds! I don't believe this thread contained any power lifting talk or offensive flirting, so that is no excuse for not updating. Power lifters are people too you know and I vote azphx as the sexiest. ;D

Nothing wrong with power lifters - I just don't fit in, so I have nothing to discuss on the Healthy Living board.
