I started a thread like that a couple of months ago, it didn't get very far. I'm trying to put on at least another 10 pounds. It's pretty hard. I've increased my calorie count and have started two protein shakes a day. But it's a fine line between adding muscle and fat. I hope to reach my goal of 200 lbs by the end of summer.

"and have started two protein shakes a day."
Try mass gainers instead of just pure protein. Ton of calories in them.

"and have started two protein shakes a day." Try mass gainers instead of just pure protein. Ton of calories in them. Thanks Pig, I'll have to try it. I tried GMC's Amp 60 for about a year, which helped get a solid base, just last week I switch to optimal nutritions 100% whey gold standard to try and bost my protein intake. So far I've really been impressed with the stuff and have quite a bit more energy that I had with the AMP 60. I hope to start adding in more cardio, but if I don't increase my calorie intake, I'm afraid I will start to loose more weight than I really want to. I know most people would love to struggle to gain weight, but we're not talking about gaining fat. Lean muscle is much harder to put on.

Thanks. I'm going to try ON for a few months and see how it goes. I do like the convenience of GNC, but will start looking at other on-line retailers if I stick with the ON products.

Could you guys post some before and after photos? I'd like to see for myself if that stuff really works. Thanks.

I'm not a member of that particular secret society so what good does that do me?

I'm aiming for 200 right now too. Currently at 183. It'll be a long uphill climb.
I recently started using Muscle Milk, mostly as a meal replacement for breakfast. I needed something quick and easy or I usually skip it. I've started drinking another one with lunch, just for the extra calories and protein. I'll give it a month and see how it goes.

I'm 5'8" and 190 right now. I'm also 41 and feel like I might be fighting a loosing battle, but I'm determined to put on some more mass before I go too far over the edge. My lifts have been going up steadily over the past year and I'm close to where I was when I was 23, but I feel much better (not as much joint pain as I had when younger). I think that has to do with better nutrition. When I was younger, I didn't watch my diet at all, and never used any supplements.

LOL!
I just signed up for a bodyspace profile on bodybuilding.com yesterday, mostly to keep track of my progress, and I took a progress picture of myself this morning when I woke up to post over there. Holy crap do I need a tan. I like the contrast between my arms which are somewhat tan and my fish white belly though. Super sexy.
