Usually, there's an influx of people at the gym until sometime in spring. Once the weather gets nicer the crowd thins out. Seems to be a larger influx this time around.

I couldn't vote... At my gym, we call January "Rookie Month".. and they are gone by the end of the month or the beginning of February.

The gym's are running two-fer specials and trainer specials. Today, the lot was half full but not that many people inside. Last Thursday the entry was so swamped with comings/goings, I switched to Sunday at noon. 4 people. The place thins out about 12:20 p.m. A couple older guys will hog the weight tower. If I had to stand in line or sign up for a machine, I'd find a new gym. Yes, I'm privileged.

The gym I go to is plenty big. Unfortunately, its inundated with 'OMG! Spring Break is in two weeks and I need to work out' people right now.
