Well not really "bad" but I decided to get away for an extended fourth weekend and spend six days with my wife visiting the mouse in Florida. I had plans of working out, I even visited the gym at the resort to check it out on the first day. It was pretty nice, but instead of going, I always found an excuse. Instead I spent the week eating fatty foods, sugar, and drinking booze. As it turns out I lost two pounds in the process. I'm going to head back into the gym tonight and try to get back on track. It was a great vacation and I can't seem to find enough coffee this morning at the office, but I'll make it through.

Taking a break every now and then is not a bad thing.

I don't think the break was too bad, the really bad diet and alcohol indulgence was a bit overdone, I think it was worth it, now I need to get back into a better routine.

I think it's good to take a break and enjoy things you don't normally allow yourself to on vacations and celebrations. It's great to stay disciplined, but you have to enjoy life too. That is my philosophy and I practice it. ;D

I think it is good because now that you have that out of your system for a while I bet you will be really dedicated the next 3-4 weeks.
One week "off the wagon" won't kill you, and in a way it "surprises" your metabolism, which is good to do every so often (just space it out right).
let us know how you are doing with getting back "on the wagon"

It's a good thing I don't feel guilty for what I do on vacation. ;D
