Has anyone here had success using Calorie King? I signed up for a yearly membership yesterday ($49) and have a 7-day free trial. I compared it to weight watchers and this was a much cheaper option. I started tracking my calories using the food diary and it has been a huge eye opener to see how many calories are in the food I've been consuming The program also tracks exercise etc. I'm hoping it will help me lose 15-20 pounds.

I think any method of tracking calories will help lead to success. I think any method where you make your own food and learn the caloric contents of that is better. I haven't used Calorie King, but ease of use will greatly increase the potential for "use." And doing something is usually the first step in success. So, I think you are on your way.
The only suggestion I have for anyone using a calorie tracker of any sort is to check it every once in a while. Pick a couple random foods and check your website's count vs. the box or another website (pick several to vary your comparison.) If you find a lot of differences, you might want to question on if you are getting accurate calorie counts.

Check out my fitness pal.com. They also have a free app for my droid. I also use myfitnesspal . com and have an app for it on my Droid X. Very helpful for tracking calories and seeing if I hit my goals for the day or went over them

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! I will look into the various sites mentioned before my calorie king free trial runs out in a few days.

I love Calorie Count ... caloriecount.about.com/community It's free, you can log weight, food, activities, and there's a nifty recipe analyzer. And the forums are nice, too. (Just watch out for the Moderator over there named Mollymouser .... heh heh heh)

fatsecret.com is also free. I use their app on my phone. I don't know how their website is - but this was the app that said my weight was too high to give an appropriate suggested calorie count.
