Thanks WS! I enjoyed that article! It will certainly make my DH happy, he LOVES beans of any kind! Had black eyed peas yesterday & he will have the leftovers for lunch....along with some other leftovers!
I also like the article about potatoes that was attached to the bean one!

YAY! I already eat an insane amount of broccoli ... plus I eat a lot of tomatoes and berries, too. But the only beans I eat are in the form of hummus as my lunchtime wrap spread. (I just don't process beans well, nor do I like their texture or flavor ~ except for green beans which I eat 2-3 times per week.) However, I average 65-70g daily grams of fiber, so there's no doubt that I'm getting more than enough fiber in my diet! These articles aren't really a surprise, though ~ haven't our moms been telling us for decades to eat our veggies?

I eat a lot of that stuff. And I fart beans, broccoli and garlic like crazy.
I guess I'd rather stink the air around me than have cancer.
P.S. Be careful when coming into my office at work. If I stand up and pretend I'm going to the printer and ask you to "walk and talk" - just go with it. You don't want to wait at my desk for me.
