How many dead lift on a regular basis? For some reason I was overcome with the desire to dead lift when I went to bed on Friday. So first thing Saturday morning I went to the gym to get it out of my system. I just did dead lifts, nothing else. It was great, but today my hamstrings and lower back are so sore I can barely walk. I think keeping a proper form is pretty hard when doing them, but I have no desire to stop.
Does anyone else get these weird urges to do a certain lift that won't go away (or am I just that unstable?)

I usually deadlift every week as it's one of the competition lifts for power lifting. No I never have any weird desire to do any particular lift.

It's kinda hard finding a set of 300+ pound dumbells.

I dream about lifting a lot and have to wake up and stop myself so I don't burn out.
The best thing to do if you over work one part is stretch real well and put rubbing alcohol on. Rubbing alcohol is an overlooked recovery method.
