Seriously...does ANYONE know how one would go about getting RID of Cellulite? The guy on the cruise said I needed to detox to get rid of it...but that sounds really fishy to me.
I don't want liposuction or anything like that. Is there a natural way to get rid of it?

Exercise and a healthy diet and a cream made from umbilical stem cells.

So...beer won't make it go away? Crap. Ok...what KIND of healthy diet? Some say no carbs, some say just fruit and veggies and no sugar...so what would be the BEST healthy "diet" to smooth my booty and thighs?

You can get rid of cellulite. Cellulite is caused by fat bunches (some people have it and some don't because how your body stores fat is a product of genetics). You have to lose weight to get rid of it. Before you go all ape shit on me, you don't have to be fat to have cellulite it's just the way your body stores fat. Lose the fat and you'll lose the cellulite. No "detox" is going to do anything.

Who said I was going to go ape shit on you? I only go ape shit on MU!
I know I am not fat and that is why cellulite is really pissing me off! I did look at the clean eating website and will be making the Keep it Tight Tilipia...but I will use a different white fish because I hate tilipia!

Tilipia is gross. I know you're not fat either. You just have the genetic curse.

Can I sue my mother because of this? And just to clarify...I don't have really BAD cellulite...but I am starting to really notice it more. I want to nip it in the bud before it gets worse. Ok...Miss M. What kind of bread can I have on this diet. You said no more than 5 ingredients...it seems like every bread on the market is full of things I cannot pronounce!

Miss M, I do always eat whole wheat or whole grain bread. I will have to look for the Ezekial bread or something similar to that. My booty thanks you!

I don't know how old you are. What worked when I was younger was a roller massager after I worked out.
The mechanism of celluite is the skin has a webbing under the skin and before the fat layer that holds things together. When the fat pokes through the gaps in the webbing, there's the cellulite. Graining and losing weight aggravates the problem. Maintaining your weight on the lower 1/3 of the weight range for yourself would help.
I know a lot of stick figures who do Pilates. It's supposed to take your muscles and get your body back into proper alignment everywhere. If you don't practice this, you might want to look into it.
I have noticed that after I lift weights and look in the mirror, I have a lot more wavy stuff on certain areas of my body. The tightened muscles have pushed the extra fat and water out to the surface. I look more smooth and toned the next day.
When all else fails, there is spanx and control undies.

Thanks Artemis.
I do like pilates, but I haven't done it in a long time.
As far as spanx and control undies...I actually look good in clothes. It is when I get nekkid that it hits me that I have some cellulite.

Angel, I think you received good advice above regarding genetics, diet and exercise. I know there are topical creams/lotions on the market that are supposed to reduce the appearance of cellulite. I have a friend who swears by the one Avon makes. Her legs do look good, but to be honest I never paid attention to what they looked like before she started using it. You many want to look up reviews on the product and see what you think. I know you can order Avon online if you are interested. I'm not sure of the name but I can find out if you want. Good luck.

Thanks Famco. I have a friend that sells Avon so I will ask her. Sooooo...I am assuming that 2 plate fulls of homemade mac and cheese isn't going to help the cellulite situation...

I did an impulse by because of this thread. Okay, the St. Ives Cellulite Shielf was in the super bargain basket at the grocery store. The claim is it is dermatologically proven. I will give it a try.

I'm with you angel - I'm only 108lbs (size 2/4) workout 4 days a week and still have cellulite. It's part genetics/part diet and exercises. Since I've been on the anti-inflammatory diet this month (similar to the eat clean) it's gotten a bit better but I don't think I can ever get rid of it totally. I've tried three different expensive and not expensive creams with little result. One worked fairly well but I'd have to spend a small fortune and a lot of time keeping it up permanently. Heck, even Jillian Michaels recently confessed she still has cellulite. Sometimes the genes are against us.

The St. Ives anticellulite cream is working. I put it on my biceps that look a little saggy unless pumped up and the inside of my thighs. I can actually feel and see the difference in skin tone. I'm 62 y.o. so a good candidate to try this on. I also put it on my chicken neck and it looks better.
I use Regenerist on my face so I haven't tried it there.
I have been checking out other peeps bis and even the lbws (lean body weights) have some sagging going on.

I tried to get a video on The Doctors website about coffee grounds/cellulite but it wouldn't load. I missed the show today so I don't know what my face is telling me. I looked for a pilates workout and found one. I'll use it as my evening "need to do something while web pages load" or commercial is on exercises.

The "webbing" in women is much more open in women and more tight in men which is why women have this issue and men rarely do.

It is when I get nekkid that it hits me that I have some cellulite. The spanx and similar don't cure cellulite they just press the fat the pops up from the webbing to be at the same level so for awhile after wearing spanx or those anticellulite jeans it is less or appears to not be there.

That looks very messy! Since it is the caffeine that does it I wonder if taking a bath in Mt.Dew would work.

Angel,
It's how your body is. The only way to COMPLETELY get rid of it is to not have any fat on your body. Which isn't possible. But anyways, I do notice that when I go out and I eat greasy foods and drink caffeinated drinks and drink alcohol that the cellulite is A LOT more noticeable.
But when I eat healthier and drink lots of water, it is not as noticeable.
The creams help plump up the skin which makes them not as noticeable, but it is only temporary. The best way is to work from the inside out. Eating healthy and drinking lots of water.
