I sweat a lot in my underarms, even just sitting at my desk in a 70 degree room. I have tried many antiperspirants, which control the odor ok but don't keep me dry.
Any recommendations, what works for you?

I keep reading this thread as anti depressants. Sage is known to reduce sweating but up to half, give it a try it's cheap.

You could try using CERTAIN DRI roll on under your regular anti-perspirant/deodorant during the day. That is what I do during the summer and it works better than anti-perspirant alone.

No no you take it as a supplement in capsule form.

Clinical strength Secret. Only thing I've found that works.

Thanks Doc and others! I've got some things to investigate now, and I'm not too "manly" to ignore a woman's product (Secret) if it will turn off the spigot.

I don't know about you Archie but stuffing a bunch of sage in your mouth isn't something I'd like to do. A capsule is easier and doesn't taste like anything.

I like sage. Fry it up and put it on roasted squash, or include it in stuffing for poultry. YUM!

LOL I'm with Pig on this one. Sage is okay in small amounts, but to eat large quantities? No way, get the capsules.

For the OP, maybe find someone that could sew in some pockets discreetly under the arms and get some cotton pads and give it a try If it works, you can sell them on QVC!

I'm late to the thread, but there is a product called "Drysol" that works really well. It is over the counter here, meaning you just need to ask the pharmacist. About $15.

I may need to look for that, as nobody around here seems to carry sage in capsules.

Some of the fabric shops might have underarm cotton pads that can be laundered. Some of those minipads/maxipads have self-adhesive but that would be too much for any guy. I use the maxis for sweat in the summer. It's better than wet undies. Sage Leaf capsules are available to Puritan. www.puritan.com/pages/iq.asp?SearchText=sage+capsules&x=19&y=14

Hey, did you try Old Spice brand? Not the solid one, the clear one.
That is the only one that works for me but it's so strong that it burns my pits! So I alternate between solid stick and clear stick.

Is there an update? We are nearly to the end of month #2 since the thread started July 8. For paying that debt down.
