Hello all!
I wanted to throw my 2 cents worth in here. I too suffered from headaches & migraines. My headaches have GREATLY reduced since I now only eat lean meats, fruits and vegetables. NO PROCESSED anything! No sugars, no dairy, no vinegars, no flour. Plus I am on bio-identical hormones. I do get a headache at 'the time of the month' but they haven't been as bad either. Overall I am feeling much better, but still have a way to go. At times, my energy level is still low. I would recommend trying the cherry juice. It helped me with other inflammation issues. I do take Maxalt for migraines. I try not to take one unless I absolutely have to. They work for me. I am trying to not take anything that I don't have to take. Even over the counter pain meds.

Hi everyone!
Hi me2...Since you mentioned about headaches, I thought it was okay to respond about what you said. I found it interesting what you wrote about changing your eating habits. Do you think those particular foods contributed to your headaches? I know processed foods can definitely cause headaches, but didn't know about the sugar, dairy and flour. I also wanted to ask about the Maxalt. I imagine it's a prescribed med? Are they any side effects, such as drowsiness? If you would rather PM me with your response instead of on the board that's okay. Unless others may benefit from your answers as well.

Hello Everyone! I am looking forward to Thursday and Friday with the kids being off school. We have some fun things planned then!
Darla: Yes Maxalt is a prescription drug, my sister was on it and maybe still is. I have never taken it. Red wine can also cause migraines, I have to watch it. In fact I can tell now when I take a drink if I can have it or not.

Hi Mitten, Darla.. And an extra special hello to you me2. Glad to see you pop in. Hope these headaches of ours find their routes out of our heads, completely. I woke with an ever so slight one this morning (from tension, I believe). That was about an hour ago and it is now 3:12am. I piddled around a few moments while my coffee pot did its thing, then I sat to enjoy a steamer cup, and I mean steamer hot.. I nuked it for additional heat.. Before the cup laid bare, my nag of a headache disappeared. Now I'm ok again. You girls are too. May your Wednesday be without too many humps in the road.. Remember to dodge all pothole type folks.. They love to put a in your day.. Avoid them with passion unless they have some purpose in your life. In that case, grin n' bear 'em. Guess I'll be doing this --> ;D all day.. Just kidding I think..

Forever LOL! Love it
Morning all. Got some great news yesterday. DF's job he was wanting offered him the job! Profit sharing, employee owned, will be going the opposite way of rush hour..... Paid slightly more then the other job had offered BUT he can wear shorts and t-shirts so he won't have to purchase new clothing.
H2H WHY were you up so early? Was it the headache? YUCK. I am so not a morning person! No headache/migraine right now so that is good.
Weezy: Did you find your headaches went away after menopause? My mom's decreased greatly after she went through it.

Mitten.. I am an early riser, but the headache made rising a bit earlier than the norm. If I climb into bed early I am for sure up with the chickens.. Lately I've been going to bed and getting up by the chickens' time clock..

Sparkle that sure is a beautiful red rose you have there. mitten they say I'm menopausal but I have no symptoms of it, probably because of my medications I take have stopped them. I usually get headached when the bareametric pressure falls too fast or rises too fast. thats when my migrains are the worst.

weezy: Oh I hear you there! I get them then also.
DF and I took DS#1 and DD to pumpkin patch. We went on the corn maze, kids played in the dried corn bin they had with toys. Then they played with kittens, fed the cows and goats. Then we went for ice cream.

Our skies are trying to clear up, Weezy, but the temps are only going to reach to about 53.. It's 48 now. I went outdoors for about 10 minutes to trim down my silver mound in the front. Not much going on in my corner of the earth.. I may take in a movie later this afternoon. Have fun Mitten. I love that field of sunflowers, Sparkle. Brightens up the room!

Weezy.. What color/kind of couch are you buying? It's fun picking out new home furnishings.. There's an open house in my area tomorrow.. If I am able to scoot out for a few minutes, I want to go see its furnishings.. It's one of the most beautiful homes around here, and huge too.. Supposedly 10 thousand square feet. That's a lotta home. The grounds are breathtaking.. I cannot even fathom who lived/lives there..

Heart it is a steel grey low rise couch with large arms and a tall bacck. It takes just about one wall of my living room. Should have measured more carefully, can't take it back as it was a close out sale and no returns, But it is beautiful. Really Great people make you feel that you, too can become great.

Good Morning all. I am looking out my den window to the field beyond with frost on the grass while the trees stand in stark relief, naked of their leaves in preperation of winter time. It really is a beautiful sight.
