Ask anyone who hires. We cannot hire unless there is enough demand = sales = profits - to justify the hiring.
Jobs plan - to pay employers to hire
Bringing in an unemployed person for so-called free work (no cost to employer) think about this.
How many employers will dismiss an employee - to get a free one for a while? (I won't - all of ours are already good)
No net gain in employment - just trading one with salary expenses - for a free one.

Of course it won't work, just look at his last jobs bill and how well that went.

A company hires a person based on the marginal increase in revenue that person will bring to the company.

It appears the Obama administration has no idea of what businesses do or why they hire or discharge people. This guy and his pals live in some sort of fantasy land where talking is the equivalent of producing something of value.

We need enterprise zones with tax relief for workers and employers! That may help a bit but I would rather see us identify the real problems causing the economy to fall in the hopper and then fix those problems. The rest will take care of itself in time.

Case in point. I live in an old (124 yo) house. I have, in the past 18 years, brought it nearly into this century, while maintaining the basic character, integrity and footprint. I'm ready to do the last big phase of renovation, which brings it 12 inches past the limits of the existing porch, but not outside squaring up the basic structure. I live in an OLD neighborhood. Most houses are about the same age as mine, give or take 30 years. The town now requires a 30 foot frontage to approve any sort of permit. ^&*^%%$# My existing, leaking nasty ass mudroom is 30 feet from the front. My porch, is 15 feet closer. What the hell do you care that instead of a porch, I'd have a mudroom. But wait, you could charge me more taxes on it... Senseless rules. And I'd be putting a bunch of guys to work... Oh, nevermind...you have all your regulations to deal with.... asswipes......
