we heard about the second plane in the second World Trade Tower.. No one know what was going on except The World Trade Center was on fire.. I had planned to meet a friend at CF about bond trading and most of my friend on Fed-Watch knew I was going to the Trade Centre. We then heard all planes were grounded and those in flight were going to Canada. Facts Were Few but I got my car and drove to Stephenville,TX to let my son know I was OK.. We went out to eat and shop at Wal-mart just to show then that was not going to change the Economic power of America. I got home at 3AM in Abilene,TX to a maze of E-mails and PM on Fed-Watch.. CapitalJane was all over me for not posting I was ok when I got to my sons house.. What did 911 do to my life, I will never know how much but I did lose some friends and some friends I did not yet know.. God Bless America!! Bi Metal Au Pt Attachments:

My wife and I owned a Child Care in Northern Virginia. I was there that day because my wife had taken our son to the doctor for a check up at Bethesda Naval Hospital.
A Little after 9 AM a parent that worked for Verizon ( only a block away) ran in grabbed her child and was screaming that we were under attack and a plane had hit the World Trade center in New York. Of course we turned the TV to watch in horror as the building burned and the witnessed the second plane hit and the buildings collapse. We also her the news about the Pentagon being hit.
Within an hour or so we were down from 70 children that day to less than 5. Parents were frantically running in and grabbing their children. I had been trying to contact my wife of course but to no avail. I later learned from her that police were coming out of the woodwork at Bethesda and the Base had effectively been shut down.
The days following 9-11 allot of our parents started losing their jobs - Taxi Cab Drivers, Hotel Workers, Restaurant Workers, Tour Guides and so on. Within a couple of months our center went from 70 children enrolled down to a low of 19 Children.
It hurt us from a business point of view but we did not let any of our staff go. We kept them all until we recovered.
We later learned that the plane that hit the Pentagon flew directly over our building on its approach.
It was very sad times.

ILL never forget the morning after the 9/11 attacks. I walked outside to put up The American flag on the house. I was overwhelmed as I looked around and all I saw was old glory flying everywhere. Ive never taken it down. I bowed my head said a silent prayer for those family's and hope our nation can heal from all thats transpired since. respects jarhead1976

I remember being a week into my new job as Rentals Manager at Dodge City, I think I still got pimples then. I honestly think I was in shock by the time I got to work, the radio announcer sounded dead talking about it. BTI you pointed out the planes to Canada that's what I was thinking about, at least my American brothers and sisters have somewhere safe to land.

My Dad worked for Marsh MMC at the time. He was due to go to the WTC Thurs Sept 13. He was one of the lucky ones. Marsh lost over 40 people that day. God Bless America.  |

USA WON!!  , The first time I returned to New York on the early Flight from DFW I got a cabbie with a Strong Brooklyn ACCENT We got talking about the physiological Problem of returning. He had been at the Hotel check-in area when he heard something UN-bearable wrong.. He grabbed a man's bag and told him jump in .. Lets go...He hit the gas and through him and himself deep into the seat as he dragged down the street at a very high rate of speed. More noise and the rider looked over his shoulder to see the World Trade Tower had landed where they were just 15 seconds before. Both would have died if they waited to exchange thought on the events : FIRST...WOW!! THEN HE TOLD ME YES... I ADDED TO THE SMOKE .. FROM THE TYRES. Then he said " God was on the shoulders of a lot of people.. There was less then 50% of the normal people in the building!!. The hotel was almost empty!!" At the end of the ride he told me " God Bless for returning to New York"....I told him" God bless America, we always pull together in faith at times like this"... God bless America!!  and all the that took part in THE WORLD TRADE 911 EVENTS!! Please GOD HELP USE GET OVER THE ANGER WE FEEL !! May God take care of those misguided soles who did this...
