Since you are from EE, i will assume you havent watched these boards as much as others

I was not complaining...i was stating FACT

the thing about FTI was that he drew out conversations about the market....the how was sometimes the issue...

others took offense from the rat pack as they are sometimes called...i never did

just like with decoys thread...i can weed through all the crap to get to what i want to read

ego's were and are the problem....some people here think their threads should be read by the masses...and need to be front and center

Please spare us this sob story. You know perfectly well this was not the case. FTI was a bumper, added little content, and would write baiting threads to non pumpers constantly. He would continually bump his threads, along with the rat pack to the top of the list so it's visible always. Other material that was more thought provoking were at bottom and he made sure of that. He and his pals used one liners, idle chatter, jokes, non market related topics, and silly pictures to keep them front and center.

The bump war started because of this behavior. We pinned threads that were all pro market in MSN MT, but now that we are not MSN anymore those that want Pumping constantly at top cry like babies that it's not the same.

Virgil came up with solution, so both sides have equal front page exposure. 4 pinned threads, hardly a problem since it was both sides being represented here.

But the cry babies now have a fit because they no longer have full support of MSN to pump daily here, and they now have a fit.

What you fail to realize is this board will grow and with more people and all FTI threads at top of page it will drive people away if it's all one sided, or give false representation of market conditions cause one voice is the loudest.

I like the 4 pinned threads idea, we should keep it, and we can always change them over time to other threads so it's not a constant.

Amazing how you blame us for the happening of the world. We are negative because we point out the obvious. If you don't like it why not join the good fight exposing these bankers that destroyed our economy and sold us out. This was very intentional I might add. We do have positive news as metals are concerned, there is a bull market that is going up. Energy is another many talk about. Sorry it's not the good old day of yesteryear, but you must face the reality we are given.

If posts are negative to you, it's because we have allowed this system to drain us of our wealth and freedoms. Please don't ramble on about negativity.

How do you expect to get any sort of change in a positive direction if you continue with same course of action that is digging a deeper hole. Time to face up to this disaster ahead, and make changes, and get educated on solutions and what caused it. I won't be a FTI and pump just to pump.

You think in great depression 1 to say the market downturn was just because people were negative. Hogwash. It is what it is because we let the foxes run the hen house too long. Time for change, and solutions. You want to play the same old game from the 1990's like the roaring 1920's then so be it. But many here are waking up to the BS and see it for what it is. Ok, I get what your saying. But news is news. What can you do, if it's bleak it's bleak. I for one report on the negative stuff but have a positive attitude that we can fix this. Education is the key. I never once have stated the world is ending. That is a FTI thing. If the general mood of the nation is confused and bleak, we try to show them why it is that way. See people think change was going to come with Obama, I clearly understood as many others that it was the same crew running the show. We were fooled, but many of us knew exactly that this was going to happen. Why, cause we researched it and looked into it beforehand. Financed and groomed by zbigniew brzezinski and henry kissinger. He came out of Chicago corrupt politics, and was a nobody til his 2 years in senate in which he was financed by the powers that be.

See, this is just one example of how people are fooled daily, yet if they open their eyes this could all end fast. Education is key, facing up to the negative news, but then doing something positive to change it.

I disagree people will turn away, cause when this economic problem continues to get worse, those with little or no financial educational background will want answers and we will have them. So when the big problems we face soon unfold they will see for themselves here if we advertise this site and get it out there one media outlet that has some answers.

Tyfighter3 has asked that I move the New areas of growth thread to the SI boards that's where it will be if anyone cares. There are too many crickets eating away at it!

Also, based on my 5 yr projections, charts, graphs, and analysts, MT, not these boards, will die a slow death just as gdgyva had said. That is of course based on nothing but projections, charts, graphs, and paid analysts..

Greetings MT, my first post since I moved here.
As usual, it is pretty hot in here, hehe. If I were to vote, I would say 4 pinned threads is a good idea, especially to deter thread pumping. However, I noted the suggestion of identifying them. Seems to be an excellent idea...
Warning viewer: Decoy's thread is NEGATIVE on the market, read on to discuss and debate, or
Warning viewer: FTI's thread is POSITIVE on the market, read on...etc

Besides, I dont come here to read the market is doing fine, or otherwise. I come here to participate in the DEBATE of ideas...if the debate is intellectual and factual, let it go where it will. As always, looking forward to the discussion. BTW, it is nice to see so many familiar icons present here. Hopefully, this will be a nice home for a while.
