snerdely, do you have the box checked to 'keep me logged in'? i'm going to guess yes.. and in which case, i have no answer as to why you would have to log in repeatedly.
In regards to the small font you mention, i am working on updating all of that stuff across all the 'skins'.. If you are not currently using the 'default' skin, can you go try that temporarily? then you will see what i am making and you can tell me if that is more easily read.
