almost all of our problems can be traced back to these three foundational problems.
fair tax.......gets rid of most cronyism and all that goes with it
un-fiat money......gets rid of larger gov't and all that goes with it
term limits.....gets rid of lobbyist and professional politicians, and all that goes with them.
now that i have fixed america, is there anything, any of you, need help with?

maui1, traced back? Why you do have something there! However most caree not to indulge in HISTORY (although I tried to present some of that old HISTORY. A fun little adventure back in time to maui1 and,'The Fix', excerpt - 2. Under the Republic, elected officials used their positions to get rich. Under the Republic, there was no law against buying votes. The poor were quite happy to sell their votes to the highest bidder. So, if you had enough money, you could get elected to government. A great many people bought their way into office. Once there, the laws they created were not always very good laws. But, many were not there to create good government. They were there to get rich. People paid a lot of money to change the laws or to add new ones. Plus, elected officials whose fees to accept for various positions. For example, elected officials decided whose fee would be accepted to become a tax farmer in a certain region. An elected official in a region might decide that the best person to get the job was a family member. They had the power to do this. Under this system, it did not take long before Rome had very bad government. (end of excerpt) taken from rome.mrdonn.org/republicfails.htmlexcerpt - A tax collector had the legal right to charge one person almost nothing, and charge another person a great deal of tax, knowing that person could not pay. If you did not pay the taxes you owed, according to the amount set by the tax collector in your region, you could be sold into slavery. (end) But here we are running the same boat.

for years, our life time politicaitons have promised us everything, for nothing, and we all know, this is not reallity.

We already have term limits, that is not an issue at all. What we have is screwed up election laws created by Democrats and republicans in order to ensure only Democrats and republicans can be elected. Campaign financing is so corrupt it plays like ROME as Decoy pointed out. We do not need to change the constitution, we need to change the election laws and put the local folks back in charge of congressional seats and state folks back in charge of state seats. We don't need California money deciding an election in North Carolina.
Fair Tax? No such thing, taxing folks on income and property is unconstitutional.
Fiat money is already unconstitutional, the Federal Reserve Act has never been put to a constitutional test in front of the supreme court. Wonder Why? Read the Constitution and it tells us how to handle money.
