Beautiful Boulder Colorado with the majestic flatirons. I lived there for 35 years and I miss it.

I love Monterey, CA. The weather there is mild year round, and the natives are very friendly. Plenty to see and do.

I don't know about Boston as it is one of the few American cities I haven't been to yet. But I have a few favorites.
1. New Orleans- my late DH took me there when we were courting; it was also where we honeymooned. Ah, stories I could tell!
2. Seattle- cool, breezy, loads of very big trees, the Farmer's Market, the Bay on one side and the mountains on the other.
3. Natchez, MS- warm and languid, beautiful architecture, azaleas in the spring
4. New York City- something always going on, fresh baked sourdough bread on Columbus, Central Park in the springtime, New Yorkers making me smile with their prickly outsides (cockle-burs I think I named them-just to myself, mind you! They're so proud of being prickly.)
5. Cloudcroft, NM- not actually a city. Much much smaller but surrounded by mountains, winding roads following the streams with apple orchards tucked into the bends.
I have others but I can't help but thinking of the Canadian cities I also loved and would like to see again.

Another vote for Monterey/Carmel. I also always seem to make my way back to Breckenridge.

I haven't been to too many US cites so based on my limited traveling, New Orleans.
I love the people (friendly), food (good), and the atmosphere. I would go back there again.

1. NYC. 2. Boston or San Francisco, depending on what season you ask me.

I've travelled a lot, and lived in many places, but I always come home to Montreal. I adore this city! Safe, clean, green, with excellent public transit and stunning architecture. It's an international foodie paradise, and there's always something to do. It's one festival after another....these folks really know how to party. There are no ghettoes and I don't even lock my door at night.

It is a tie for me between Estes Park Colorado or Colorado Springs Colorado. Went during the summer and it was BEAUTIFUL! Lots to do, although you do need a car.
I enjoyed New Orleans although I fell in love with one restaurant. I think I want to go back for that restaurant and the Po'Boys (sorry if I misspelled it)
Have grown up in Minneapolis MN and still live about 45 minutes away. I think there is lots to do here, especially if you like the out doors. People also love to shop here but I am SO not a shopper.

I have to say Seattle is a very nice city. A week was not enough time to see and enjoy everything. I love Seattle too And if you liked Seattle, try Chicago. I was there over the 4th of July weekend this year. I totally fell in love with that city! Was blown away by its waterfront, museums, rivers/canals throughout and of course seeing U2 in Soldier Field (the reason for being there) more than exceeding expectations. Most definitely will return to the city again.
