So I've got a Bisquick cookbook full of recipes for Impossibly Easy Pies. Most of them look pretty good...there's just one thing, the g'kids turn their noses up at casserole-type food because they don't want their food all mixed together. Drat.
DD won't tell them to eat what's put in front of them and when she tells them to try just one bite, they make faces before they even try it.
There must be a solution. Heck, when my kids were little, they washed their hands and came to the table ready to chow down on whatever was served. How did I do that?

;D TT! I'm a widder lady living in a granny flat at DD/DSIL's house. I've tried that tack with the little darlings, but they said "good! I don't want any."
I even found a recipe for Mac & Cheese Impossibly Easy Pie, no kidding! But I bet they wouldn't eat that either. There are a bunch of dessert pies, and I'm thinking of making one of those to see if they'll try those.

MissR, do the kids ever eat more if they help make it? If I remember right, all but one are really picky. Maybe that would work though.

Just as an aside... as a kid I hated anything made with bisquick and I still don't like it (something in it doesn't "taste right" to me), BUT if I substitute Krusteaz I like it just fine
