The co-founder of Home Depot sharply criticized the president for promoting class warfare through his repeated attacks against "fat cat" business executives ... Said the "fat cat" business executive.

I think it'll take generations to get enough sheeple on board to elect another Democrat disaster too though. He's gonna leave a bad taste behind and I believe his presidency has changed the game for the Democratic Party. The same old lies aren't going to work so well anymore.
Think about it. He acted like he could do miracles. And they believed him. It was a cult of personality and the person behind the green curtain is just a little blowhard. That sort of thing hits people at a really fundamental level. It's like learning there is no Santa Claus. It changes your entire world view.
Obama's a game changer. Even more so than Jimmy Carter.

Marsha, the dems said the same thing about Bush. What is really said is so little of the population as figured out that there isn't a dimes worth of difference between the two major parties.

The problem for a next Republican president (if/when it happens) is that he/she won't be able to pull out the credit card like Reagan did in the 80's.

Yep, bho has maxed it out and is telling the creditors (us) that he can't pay the bill. Will be very glad when bho is evicited from the White House.

Specifically the need to disregard the 14th amendment in the DoDs Don't ask Don't Tell Policy and the disregard of the 14th and 1st Amendments regarding the definition of marriage.

another seriously funny complaint. Bush was the most divisive president i have ever seen. "you are either with us, or you are with the terrorists", remember? people have amazingly short memories.

So the Tea Party is trying to change the definition of marriage??? I thought it was the other side who was requesting a change. From my recollection it has always been defined as a union between one man and one woman as far back as recorded history goes. And who instituted the Don't ask don't tell policy??? I thought it was Bill Clinton.

Well, that "Fat Cat" created a business that created thousands of jobs. I daresay that HomeDepot has created more jobs than Obama.

What the fuck do I care who instituted Don't ask Don't Tell? What I do care about is the unconstitutional part.

Since you don't agree with it you choose to decry and make fun of it, who would have guessed.

From my recollection it has always been defined as a union between one man and one woman as far back as recorded history goes. actually, what is interesting, is that most states did NOT in fact define marriage this way. it may have been UNDERSTOOD that marriage was heterosexual, but it absolutely was NOT defined that way in the legal sense in MANY places.

Since you don't agree with it you choose to decry and make fun of it, who would have guessed. I gave you a legitimate response. If you don't like it, work to change it, but don't lie and say it's an invention of the Tea Party. That just makes you look like a rube...

Where did I claim it was an invention of the tea party? All I said was that they are ignoring constitutional law while supporting suspect social causes.... That imagination of yours really is something.

The Defense of Marriage Act is constitutional law, signed by President Clinton on September 21, 1996. Again, if you don't like it, write to your congressperson and ask to have it changed...
