I (heart) my toothpaste. It makes my teeth feel sparkly and clean. I cannot decide which flavor I like best. I use many flavors. Sometimes I tend towards the red stuff, which reminds me of Lavoris. Boy do I miss Lavoris. Other times, I use Colgate. Why can't all the tooth paste makers use a sensible top like Colgate? It flips up, and you don't have to worry about dropping it down the drain.
I just had to start a MU style thread. It is just not the same without him.

OMG, a forgotten product I wish we still had around! My grandma always had that in the guest bathroom in her NYC apartment. I've always associated certain scents with that place, and Lavoris is one of them.
I grew up a Crest kid, but I coupon, so I get what's on sale. I need the sensitivity versions of whatever I buy, so I'll use Colgate or Crest or Sensodyne, whatever is cheapest.

Nancy, Lavoris was bought by a small company and is still available. Just not too many stores carry it. I have not yet tried getting from the manufacturer. What the heck would I do with a case or two?

I too am a couponer and have a smorgasbord of toothpastes. You like Colgate? Which would you prefer? Colgate Total, Colgate Max White, Colgate Max Fresh, Colgate Sensitive Multiprotection? Or if you're a Crest fan, I have Crest Pro Health, Crest Pro Health Clinical Gum Protection, or Crest Outlast w/ Scope. There is always the random tube of Aquafresh Extreme Clean or Luster Premium White too.
Disclaimer: All excess toothpaste is donated to the local food pantry.

Aw, Blue....I have not seen it. Must be either an online product, or something carried in the older chain stores. I gotta find a bottle of that, for old time's sake. I miss my grandma.

Nancy, just google Lavoris. When I did, they claimed CVS carred it. Of course I couldn't find it.

When I saw this thread, a little tear of joy crept down my cheek . I thought our wayward son had returned, but alas it was just Blue feeling a little nostalgic. [Blue: Moon's added a to the avatars.]

I have a lifetime supply of toothpaste, despite giving it away regularly. At my yearly research meetings, I usually come home with a bag full of products. Right now, I have to give away everything but the stuff for sensitivity (I only keep the Pro Health and Sensodyne) but still have enough for a year.
I also have a lifetime supply of toothbrushes such that I'll grab a new one to clean the scum out of my Sonicare.
Working in dental research does have advantages!

I use old ones to scour around the edges of the stainless steel sink in the kitchen - the bristles are small and fine enough to get right under the edge where cleaning cloths won't go.

DI, for EE, it is roughly on topic - it has to do with a clean mouth.

I much prefer Toms of Maine, et al., to Crest, Colgate and their ilk...

I would but I'm still recovering from my last exalt of PoM Are we going for another thread lockdown? No need of for a lockdown of this thread. I'll behave myself. I promise. I'll be a good girl. No need to handcuff me, chain me to bars, make me repent... Wait, which kind of "lockdown" did you mean???

I'll remind my GF next time that at least it doesn't foam
Hey, if we are going to get locked down, we might as well have fun.
