Do any of you know how remove dried latex paint from clothing? Is it even possible?

depending on the material, you could carefully peel it off. what did you spill paint on?

Against my wife's wishes I painted in clothes that I shouldn't have. It's cotton I think so it's in the fibers as in you can see it on the other side of the material. I tried to scrape it off but it's into the fibers.
ETA: Thanks much Saveinla! I will try it and let you know how it goes.

Paint over it with a matching color to your clothes. Wear them only at night in dim lighting. Why are men so clueless?

This little Piggy went painting This little piggy wore the wrong clothes This little piggy got paint on them This little piggy couldn't get it off And all the other piggies heard "Please- honey! Not the frying pan!" When his wife found out. Good luck getting the paint out

Update. I tried the isopropyl alcohol suggested and the stain did indeed lighten. However, while working on the stain I didn't realize I was bleeding and now have a bunch of blood stains in addition to the paint. I left them soaking overnight in some water and will wash it tonight.

Dr. Pig- Hydrogen peroxide is good for getting fresh blood stains out and for getting it out of light colors- but wash immediately to prevent a bleaching effect. You may want to test on an inconspicuous spot first.

So much unecessary work for you. Should have listened to the Mrs! Trying hard to feel sorry for you. It isn't working.

Thank you all! I (well my wife) washed the shorts last night and it worked really well. Most of the stain is gone and what's left isn't really all that noticeable!

You guys have given me an idea. If isopropyl alcohol works I'm thinking xylene would work even better! I'll let you know if it works or if it destroys the clothes.
