schwab now has trading in your currency of choice.
do you think it would make sense to trade in the strong currencies like the loonie, aussie dollar, or the swiss frank?

The enclave is less than 1 km at the shortest point from the rest of Italy, but the hilly terrain requires a journey by road of over 14 km to reach the nearest Italian town, Lanzo d'Intelvi, and over 28 km to reach the city of Como.) or Lichtenstein the CHF is also legal currency. Well, Frank.. The one major Black Swan the CHF has is UBS.. Too big to save as it is 200% the size of the Swiss Confederation.. Just a thought, Bi Metal Au Pt

There are lots of currency ETFs already on the market.
Before that, Everbank offered CDs in many currencies - I'm sure they still do. Even have gold-related offerings.

Confoederatio Helvetica.....That's what CH means Virgil. It's on my bumper sticker. O&G called the Swiss Franc a while ago. I looked at fxf...but not knowing as much about currency trading as Soros...never acted. My bad.

My bad. kman, Back on the old Fed-Watch board ( before msn f??k with it) Pacwest used to post a lot about Swiss bonds.. Did well with them but they are hard to get except in Luxembourg. How Times flies. As far as Schwab.. It is like the old time "pony Houses" you can bet on the stuff but can not get it out as Swiss Franc etc....Agree with FTI on that.. Remember gold at 288??? Bi Metal Au Pt I am not sure but may be we missed the train on CHF...Looks more like the USD market.. Just my thoughts, Bi Metal See chart of M2.. Attachments:

I love NG power plants more all the time.. Now from the wind Turbines in the clouds !!! and Solar in the land of the "High Sky"..How about under the mountain Tunnels to feed lakes for Hydro power year over year in Iceland. Just a thought.. I was wrong all the time about how safe nuclear was because I did not know how many very old reactors were extending their life cycles..Me bad Bi Metal Au Pt You got to love the Worlds largest current Wind Turbine E-126 from Enercon (Germany) Attachments:

it wasn't age that was the problem......it is spent fuel that is the problem. and it still is a problem, that has no solution yet.
japan stored spent fuel on site (as we do here) and when that spent fuel was exposed, that created the fall out.
when reactors were built, they weren't built with a spent fuel storage area on site........everyone thought that there would be a disposal process that would store spent fuel, away from the nuke site. since this storage did not happen, 'temporary' storage areas have been built at most nuke sites, and since they were built as 'temporary storage', the building standards were not as they were for the reactor themselves.

Geez Maui. Where have you been hiding? Haven't you heard of spent fuel rod reprocessing? The concept has been around for quite a while. The French have had it in practice for decades for their large nuclear power infrastructure. I have no idea why the Japanese haven't used the technology. I certainly know why it's not used in the US. Nuclear power opponents have made it illegal to reprocess rods here. A brilliant strategy, no?

the french recycle and get more out of their fuel, but they still have the same issues the rest of the world has, just in smaller amounts.
