OK. After careful analysis in my editor, I concede that it is, in fact, blue. You people will be the death of me. I thought snow leopards would be the death of you

That's why I like the VSilver, mizbear. It has the white background in the text area. The Default and a couple of the others have a colored background in the main body and it's harder on the eyes. hmmm....lesson 1 in the powerpoint presentation and Graphical User Interface design is to use darker colors when possible for background, using lighter or white text on the darker background. the reason being that this causes less eye strain. as someone that was once prescribed glasses for eye strain, I've followed this - both in my own line of work and in personal surfing when possible. I liked the VMoney, except the white background within the threads. I could see it giving me a headache if I were viewing that skin for a long period of time.

I voted VSilver and VMoney. You can't lose with either one, but my eyes prefer VSilver. They don't tire when using that one. That may appeal to the lurkers.

That's exactly why I like it. I'm using the ScottishLassie right now (because Moon was gracious enough to create it for me ), and the main body of the screen is exactly the same as VSilver. The bubble design is only on the outer border and that's the only difference between the two.

I'm using the Bubble Skin right now, but change it almost daily. I get bored with the same thing. I think it's nice they give us that option.

Actually, "they" give us no options other than the default. we've created all the skins that are there to choose from. you can tell whose are Virgil's because his all start with v in front - vMoonlight, vUncia, etc..
when the next version of Proboards comes out, i think we'll have to start all over again...

I'm trying to change my skin again and it won't let me? Anyone know what's going on or why it's doing this?

Which one are you switching from, and to? It's not allowing me to even see the skins today or yesterday. I pm'ed moonbeam and she said Virgil knows more about it. She said she tried as well and hers was messed up too and it must be something in the forum.

It looks like a regression in IE, femme. They introduced yet another major bug with their latest update.
I've applied a workaround that should allow you to see all the skins again.

I am here to say, I just went through every single Skin and I like the VUncia the best as far as Creativity. I'm keeping that one for a while. But the Pastels and Scottish Lassie were my next picks. Just Saying.

- I'm glad to hear someone likes my design contribution. I like it because it's easy on the eyes and very little distraction from the text area.
