Not a whole lot of activity this time as we all settle back in to the school year and start saving for the holidays (only 3 months away folks). But we did have 2 leapfroggers: Female Sam and Maryjanemanolos.

You might notice One Step Closer has moved around on the list too. That's because she had to add some debt to her race. We're thrilled she's still on our list and know that this is only a temporary setback.

I would like to join the 25-50K club. I just started racing with Midwest board this month. I'm racing my 2 cc, car loan, and high interest private student loan. Once those are paid off I will join the 100k club to knockout my additional student loans (~120k) and mortgage (~200k).

Leapfroggers
I don't know if folks have noticed, but since I took over this board, maryjanemanolos, rr234, luckyinSF and CLS 238, and CleanSlate09 have been in a tight bunch, trading spots but always the five of them remaining in a group. This week, maryjanemanolos and rr234 both leapfrogged to take the "lead" of this group, but who knows how long that will last.

ffhope jumped up three spots from the bottom of the list with her update, paying off over $1,400

blackcard continues her speed racing ways, with a payoff of over $3,300

Making a major payoff of over $1,360, but not leapfrogging, was deepintx

Challenge
In the 12 weeks that I'm calling the Summer Season (6/29-9/21), the folks on this list paid off $37,945.82.
The challenge I'm putting forth is that in the next 14 weeks, what I'm calling the Holiday Season (9/22-12/28), we pay off the same amount or more. Since it's the holidays, when extras often go toward gifts and get togethers, we get an extra two weeks to make the goal.
So that's it. We're not trying to break any records or shoot for the moon, but let's try and maintain our pace and payoffs through the holidays. I know we can do it.
