are the two words you are supposed to add the end of any fortune cookie fortune. Here is mine what I got today: "You are imaginative in using your skills. Apply this next week" In bed. Yes, the universe knows I am awesome

Not a shred of evidence exists in favor of the idea that life is serious, in bed.

At lunch today, I got "Prepare yourself for a long, challenging journey. Many new avenues will open before you" in bed

I am not happy with the color palette you chose, EFCO. Blonde with auburn lowlights.....sheesh, the drapes are gray. It doesn't have to match, but it should GO together. Whatever would Stacy and Clinton say?

I had one today that said something about "a stranger bringing me good blessings" in bed.

Good point MM. You could put in nice hardwood floors. Those are an awful lot of maintenance though.

Technically, carpeting is optional - curtains, however, are not. LOL -- gotta have curtains! hardwood is my preferance ;D

Not bad...17 posts, and the thread technically went off topic at #5, thanks to EFCO. Although I'm not sure the thread ever had a shot at staying on topic, given the subject matter.

What thread in EE stays on topic? And of course it's all EFCO's fault!

This one struck me really funny since I just ordered custom fortune cookies for my daughters wedding with the bride and grooms name and wedding date. Adding in bed would probably be accurate!

Hardwood floors are very easy to maintain. Nice and shiny after cleaning with vinegar and water. I had all the carpet pulled up out my new home and had hardwood floors placed.
If there's a spill which yould you rather do- shampoo a carpet or wipe the hardwood floor clean?

Wow! This went somewhere totally expected LOL Personally, I think a well placed and maintained accent rug really makes the hardwood shine while giving the room a mature yet still modern vibe.
